One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 48
“Yoshida’s house was located in the northwest of the small town.
After inquiring along the way, Jon and the others easily found the place.
As soon as they arrived at the entrance, Tanjiro sniffed around a few times, and his expression turned a bit unpleasant.
He lowered his voice and said, “There is a smell left by a demon here!”
Everyone’s expression changed slightly.
Zenitsu instinctively hid behind Jon.
Inosuke and Genya Shinazugawa couldn’t wait to draw their swords.
Only Kanao Tsuyuri looked at Jon with a smile and whispered, “Master, what should I do?”
Jon smiled back at the girl.
“Just do as I taught you, go boldly.”
Kanao Tsuyuri pondered for a moment, then nodded gently. “I understand.”
With those words, her aura changed.
She lifted her leg and kicked the main door forcefully.
Bang!
The door collapsed with a crash.
Inosuke and Genya Shinazugawa exchanged glances.
“Boar Rush!”
“Kill!”
The two rushed into the house.
Kanao Tsuyuri bowed slightly. “Sorry for the disturbance.”
After that, she walked in slowly as well.
Tanjiro was stunned.
It took him a while to react.
Jon pushed him gently. “What are you thinking? Catch up with them.”
“But…” Tanjiro hesitated, “We haven’t figured out what’s inside yet.”
“Aren’t we just about to investigate?” Jon smiled.
As everyone knew, the Joestar Family would often peeking at their own mother bathing and beating unrelated passersby.
To eliminate demons, breaking into other people’s homes was also justifiable.
Hearing the commotion, Yoshida Taro rushed out.
Inosuke and Genya Shinazugawa’s eyes lit up.
“Hey, old man, where is the demon?”
Yoshida Taro’s heart skipped a beat, and he forced a dry laugh. “Demon? Haha, there’s no demon here.”
After a pause, he adopted an angry expression.
“Who are you people! How dare you break into my house in broad daylight!”
“Us? We’re just passing Demon Slayers.”
Jon entered the courtyard, dragging a teary-eyed Zenitsu. “I’m Jon, a Special Mentor from the Demon Slayer Corps. Nice to meet you.”
A Special Mentor from the Demon Slayer Corps!
Yoshida Taro’s face turned pale.
He wanted to tell them about the predicament he was in, but upon remembering what he had done, he had no choice but to sew his mouth shut as he said, “I’ve never heard of the Demon Slayer Corps. If you don’t leave, I’ll report you to the authorities!”
This was what you might call a guilty conscience.
With his keen Color of Observation Haki, Jon immediately saw that Yoshida Taro was up to something.
He waved his hand. “Go!”
Tanjiro and Kanao Tsuyuri were obedient.
Inosuke and Genya Shinazugawa were naturally ready.
The four of them scattered and attacked simultaneously!
In just the blink of an eye, Yoshida Taro was immobilized.
A certain orange-haired figure clapped his hands in approval.
“Well done!”
Jon: …
Forget it, now’s not the time to argue with Zenitsu.
After subduing Yoshida Taro, Jon walked up to him and asked, “You keep trying to avoid eye contact, and you look flustered. Have you done something wrong?”
“I haven’t!” Yoshida Taro vehemently denied.
Jon didn’t bother wasting words and gave Tanjiro and the others a look.
The four of them understood and quickly moved inside.
Yoshida Taro realized something was wrong and shouted at the top of his lungs, “Help! Someone is robbing me!”
Jon laughed.
This guy was quite clever.
No clues were found yet, but the police were about to arrive.
Two officers with truncheons at their waists rushed into the house, shouting in unison, “Stop!”
Jon didn’t even look at them; he simply swung his sword.
Boom.
The ground collapsed, and stones flew everywhere.
The two officers were stunned.
“Some things aren’t for you to meddle in, understand?”
“Understood, understood!”
“Get lost.”
“Yes, sir!”
“The officers arrived quickly and left even faster.
Yoshida Taro was instantly dumbfounded.
Zenitsu looked at Jon with admiration, muttering, “So cool~”
Soon, Tanjiro and the others returned.
Their expressions were heavy.
“Master, we found these,” Tanjiro said.
Kanao Tsuyuri held a wooden tray containing various trinkets such as hairpins and buttons.
“And these,” Genya Shinazugawa showed them bloodstained old clothes.
“So that means,” Jon scratched his brow, “You fed humans to demons.”
Having his secret exposed, Yoshida Taro immediately broke down.
“I didn’t want this,” he cried, “I had no choice!”
“I am also a victim!”
“If I didn’t do this, I would have died!”
“I don’t want to die! I really don’t want to die!”
Yoshida Taro collapsed to the ground, crying hoarsely.
Jon looked at his disciples.
“What do you think we should do?”
The atmosphere was silent for a moment.
Kanao Tsuyuri, always without much opinion, stayed quiet.
Even the usually impatient Inosuke and Genya Shinazugawa were uncharacteristically calm.
Zenitsu shrank into the corner, trying to minimize his presence.
After pondering for a moment, Tanjiro said, “Perhaps we should send him to prison.”
The kind-hearted hot-blooded main character has appeared!
Jon neither agreed nor disagreed, saying gravely, “From a certain perspective, humans and demons are alike.
“Humans can sometimes become demons; demons can sometimes retain humanity.”
Hearing this, Tanjiro lowered his head in thought.
He remembered his sister, Nezuko, who had accidentally become a demon.
“You want to live, but others want to live too.
“You say you are a victim, but in fact, you are a perpetrator.”
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Jon pointed at Yoshida Taro’s brow.
“The boundary of good and evil is merely a thin line; I don’t blame your choices.
“But you truly run out of luck, because you encountered me.”
Swish! With a casual Shigan, Yoshida Taro died!
The wind blew, and the courtyard was silent.
Jon snapped his fingers and smiled. “Don’t just stand there, clean up the scene. Look at the blood, it’s unsightly.”
Hearing this, Zenitsu shivered.
The more he interacted with Jon, the less he could understand him.
“Yes, sir!”
Inosuke was obedient.
Inosuke was always obedient! Especially after witnessing the ‘tiger’ bared its fangs, Inosuke became even more obedient.
Without anyone’s help, Inosuke dragged Yoshida Taro’s body away by himself.
Jon cleared his throat and said, “Although the villain has been dealt with, the evil demon has yet to be dealt with.
“Tonight, we’ll stay here and wait for the demon to appear.”
After killing the owner of the house, they proceed to occupy it.
They five ones had different expressions.
“Um…” Zenitsu weakly raised his hand, “What if the authorities come looking for us?”
“A dignified Demon Slayer shouldn’t feel threatened by a group of ordinary people. Don’t go around saying you are my disciple if that happens; it would be a disgrace to me.”
Jon observed the group.
“Abusing power over the weak is unacceptable, but fearing the weak is even worse. Don’t mind about such little details!”
As a person, one must have flexible moral boundaries.
A clear conscience was enough.
‘My heart and actions are clear like a mirror; everything I do is for justice.’
Although I beat up a hundred-year-old man, escaped from prison, and threatened patrolmen, I am a good person.
A 100% good person!”
