One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 58
“I said, I can help relieve your father from his misery,” Jon repeated.
Keicho Nijimura’s face was full of disbelief, his eyes showing caution.
“Jon Joestar, who exactly are you?”
“I am a Ripple user, a Stand user, a pirate, a professional hero. I am many things. But for you, knowing that I can help is enough.”
Jon pointed to the ceiling.
“Take me up there, and everything will become clear.”
Not only did he know about my father’s condition, but he even knows that I’ve hidden him in the attic?
Keicho Nijimura’s heart skipped a beat, feeling like this black-haired youth, who was not much older than him, could see through him entirely.
“Uh uh uh uh uh.”
At this moment, Okuyasu Nijimura started making noise again.
Keicho Nijimura regained his senses, a barely noticeable worry flashing across his brow.
“Do I… have no choice?” He lifted his head, staring directly into Jon’s eyes.
Jon smiled without saying a word.
“Well, as long as you can help my father, then the arrow is yours.”
“It’s a deal!”
Both parties agreed verbally, then Joseph and Kakyoin released Okuyasu Nijimura.
Okuyasu was about to cause a scene, but seeing his big brother’s expression, he was suddenly too scared to move.
“We’ll settle our score later,” Keicho Nijimura said with a fierce look in his eyes.
Okuyasu couldn’t help but shiver.
Big brother, let me explain!
“Their father was once Dio’s subordinate. After Dio’s death, the seed Dio implanted inside him went berserk,” Jon looked at Kakyoin, “just like the kind of seed you once had inside you.”
Upon hearing this, Kakyoin’s mouth opened slightly.
But in the end, he said nothing.
It was a memory too painful to remember.
Whenever he thought about it, he felt a shiver down his spine.
“My Ripple technique naturally counters such unknown malevolence. Just wait patiently here, you don’t need to worry,” Jon briefly explained, giving everyone a reassuring look.
Then, he followed Keicho Nijimura and Okuyasu Nijimura up to the attic.
The attic was very dark, with almost no light.
The monster chained in the corner squinted its eyes, instinctively looking towards the door.
“Have you made up your mind?”
“Mm.”
With the affirmative answer, Jon walked slowly into the room.
He took a deep breath, expressionless, and spread his palms.
In an instant, Ripple spread out.
Layers of ripples emerged.
“Ugh… Ah…”
The swollen monster groaned unintelligily.
Okuyasu Nijimura’s face showed a look of unbearable pain, tears welling up as he clutched his big brother’s sleeve.
“Do we really have to do this? He’s our dad!”
“Okuyasu.” Keicho Nijimura’s eyes were also red, “It’s because he’s our dad that we can’t let him continue to suffer in this world.”
“But…”
Okuyasu Nijimura seemed like he wanted to say more.
Suddenly, a flesh on the monster’s body burst, splattering green liquid with a foul smell.
Jon’s eyelid twitched.
Disgusting.
“Ah… It hurts… Kill me…”
Under the effect of Ripple, the monster’s eyes regained a hint of clarity.
Jon looked at Keicho Nijimura.
Keicho Nijimura took a deep breath, stiffly turning his head away. “Continue.”
Jon understood and released the Ripple without reservation.
Sizzle!
It was like oil meeting fire.
The monster burst into flames fiercely!
Tears blurred Okuyasu’s eyes instantly, and he seemed madly eager to rush to his father’s side, but he was firmly held back by Keicho.
Perhaps it was a last flicker of light.
Just before turning into ashes, Mr. Hikimura miraculously regained consciousness.
“Keicho… Okuyasu.”
He looked at his two brothers at the door, squeezing out an unusually ugly smile.
“I’m sorry.”
“Dad!” Okuyasu cried out in pain.
Keicho gritted his teeth.
In just a few blinks of an eye, Mr. Mansaku’s figure disappeared completely.
Jon quietly left the attic, giving the brothers time alone.
Back in the living room.
Meeting Joseph and the others’ gaze, he nodded gently. “It’s done.”
“Ah~” Joseph sighed.
Jotaro and Kakyoin remained silent.
A thousand words summed up in one sentence: Damn Blonde Vampire!
After waiting for a while, Keicho Nijimura and Okuyasu Nijimura came downstairs.
It was evident that the brothers were feeling down.
After looking everyone in the hall, Keicho finally looked at Jon, his tone complicated. “In any case, I have to thank you.”
“It’s part of the deal,” Jon said lightly.
“Yeah, a deal.”
Keicho shrugged.
“What are you planning to do next?” Jon asked.
Keicho remained silent for a moment before saying, “Well, first, I’ll take care of this dumb kid.”
He looked at Okuyasu, who was crying with tears and snot.
“Then you better get going,” Jon smirked, handing Keicho the promised check and a business card. “If you encounter any difficulties, you can call the number on this card.”
Keicho took it without looking, casually stuffing the business card into his pocket. “You don’t have to worry about it.”
Well, my enthusiasm just met a cold reception.
Jon didn’t mind, waving his hand and leaving the abandoned house with Jotaro and the others.
Outside, the sun was shining brightly.
Having acquired one of the Arrows, everyone was in a good mood.
Joseph suggested, “Why don’t we go all out and find the other Arrows too!”
Jotaro and Kakyoin had no objections.
Jon thought for a moment.
With their team, Yoshikage Kira should be as easy of an opponent as Keicho Nijimura.
Just as he was about to agree.
Suddenly, his Stand expressed a desire to evolve.
No, not a desire!
But a more human-like emotion.
It was like someone who was already full still craving a few more bites of ice cream.
His Stand was… hungry!
Jon was stunned for a few seconds, then changed his tune. “There’s no need to rush. Let’s rest at the hotel for the night before we decide.”
That was unlike my son to be so cautious.
Joseph rubbed his chin and nodded slightly. “Cautious, that reminds me of my younger days.”
Jotaro was somewhat speechless, tapping his hat brim.
“Good grief.”
That night, at the Duwang Grand Hotel.
When there was no one left in the room, Jon summoned his Stand.
A door about five meters high, engraved with nebulae and the World Tree, quietly appeared.
There were three clusters of nebulae on the door, representing the “One Piece World,” the “One Punch Man World,” and the “Demon Slayer World.”
Jon made his Stand return to its normal size, poking into the ceiling.
Then, he began “feeding.”
“Creak.”
The door swung wide open, and Jon inexplicably heard the sound of a wooden door opening.
Winds swirled inside the room.
Countless fine threads stretched out from the “Door,” wrapping around the Arrow.
Here it came, that indescribable feeling of satisfaction!
“This is just… It’s even more refreshing than putting on brand new underwear on New Year’s morning.”
