One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 72
The dishes were impeccable, every flavor was just right.
However…
“My stomach!”
Josuke stared in horror at his swelling belly, his face turning green with fear.
Jotaro, tears streaming down his face, slammed the table, “Damn it, I was tricked!”
Joseph was in the worst shape, his entire body writhing painfully. At a glance, he looked like a lump of meat come to life, causing one’s sanity to drop dramatically.
“Calm down, everyone.”
Jon feared Jotaro and Josuke might start an ORA/DOORA session any second, so he quickly intervened, “Take it easy, take it easy.”
“Jon, this is no time to stay calm…”
Mid-sentence, Josuke’s expression changed drastically, and he dashed off.
“I need to use the bathroom!”
Jotaro blinked hard and finally managed to stop his tears.
Miraculously, his dry, irritated eyes felt perfectly normal!
“Yare yare daze,” Jotaro sighed with relief.
Jon chuckled.
Tonio Trussardi’s Stand is called ‘Pearl Jam.’
When he prepares food, he integrates his Stand into the ingredients.
The Stand enters the diners’ bodies, healing ailments by a process of destruction and rebirth.
Depending on the symptoms, the healing process can be quite bizarre (underline this).
Suddenly, Joseph, feeling significantly better, softly said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this relaxed…”
He looked at Jon.
“Thank you, Jon.”
I call you Dad, you call me Jon. We each have our own way.
Jon smiled wryly.
At this moment, the chef and owner, Tonio Trussardi, approached.
“Ladies and gentlemen, are you satisfied with today’s dishes?”
Jon gave a thumbs-up without hesitation.
Jotaro pressed down his hat brim, “An amazing ability… And, of course, the food is undoubtedly first-class.”
Hearing this, Tonio Trussardi placed his hand over his chest and bowed with a smile.
After about five or six minutes, Josuke returned.
His face had a look of relief like a student finishing an exam just before the bell rings.
“Josuke, you’re back just in time.”
Jon waved him over.
“Come, let’s discuss going to Italy.”
Josuke: ?(°°)
Three days later.
Italy, Naples Airport.
“From today on, you’re with me. From now on, listen to what I say, got it?”
Staring at the young blonde in front of him, Fugo spoke indifferently, “Remember, you’re under my protection. No one here can bully you except me!”
“Yes, Mr. Fugo,” Giorno nodded.
He obediently took out his wallet and respectfully handed it over with both hands.
Fugo took it without a second glance and stuffed it into his suit pocket.
“You’re quite clever. Do your job well around here. If you need anything, come find me.”
With that, he swaggered away.
Giorno pursed his lips.
Avoiding trouble with gang leaders like Fugo was wise. However, one day, he would surpass Fugo’s status.
He would become the true…
Mafia Boss (Gang-Star)!
“Oh, I got distracted.”
Shaking his head, Giorno muttered to himself.
Rome wasn’t built in a day.
The first step to becoming a Mafia Boss is making money.
But making money isn’t easy.
Not only did he have to pay off local thugs, but also bribed the nearby police.
Giorno wandered around the airport entrance for a while before spotting a chubby policeman.
He approached, taking out another wallet, “Good day, officer. I’m Giorno Giovanna, new to the taxi business here. Just a small token of appreciation.”
The chubby policeman looked Giorno over and chuckled, “You’re quite young, aren’t you?”
Giorno, thirteen years old but looking fifteen or sixteen, scratched his head shyly, “My family’s not well off, so I had to start working early.”
He offered the wallet, “I hope you can take care of me.”
“Well…”
The policeman naturally accepted the wallet, weighed it, and smiled greasy, “Sure, sure.”
Having settled both the underworld and the police, Giorno officially started his taxi business.
Running a taxi, or rather, an unlicensed taxi.
Under normal circumstances, it wouldn’t be very profitable.
But if he could catch some unsuspecting foreign tourists, it was a different story.
“Beautiful lady, a ride to Naples city center for only 20,000 lira, an absolute bargain.”
“Sir, trust me, I can introduce you to the local culture and recommend must-see spots in Naples.”
“I know the best restaurant in Naples. If you’re interested, I can take you there right now.”
Giorno, with his charming looks and eloquent tongue, made a tidy sum within a day.
Of course, only a small portion was from fares; most was what he had stolen using ‘Golden Experience.’
“My decision was correct.”
Counting his money, a gleam of joy flashed in Giorno’s eyes.
Looking at the sky, he debated whether to do one more round.
Just then, four men emerged from the airport.
Three young, one old.
Giorno’s heart skipped a beat as he glanced at them.
“The clothes and luggage are all top-quality!”
Jackpot!
And a rare big jackpot at that!
Without hesitation, Giorno hurried over and blocked their path.
“First time in Naples? Need a guide?”
He extended his hand.
“My car is right over there. If you don’t mind, I can take you anywhere in Naples for just 30,000 lira.”
“Yare yare daze.”
The young man in the white coat barely frowned.
Looking at Giorno’s blonde hair, a strange annoyance rose within him.
The black-haired youth kept mumbling something about ‘Stand users always being drawn to each other.’
The elderly man, leaning on a cane, shook his head, “There are four of us. Your car won’t fit all of us.”
Before Giorno could respond, the young man with the odd hairstyle spoke up, “What’s the problem? Mr. Joestar, you and Mr. Jotaro can take one car, and Jon and I will find another.”
The old man thought for a moment, a hint of hesitation on his face, “But the SPW Foundation has already sent a car to pick us up.”
“That’s nothing,” the black-haired youth dismissed, “Let’s do as Josuke suggested. The two of us will take this young man’s car. Joseph, you and Jotaro wait here for the SPW Foundation’s car.”
He smiled warmly at Giorno.
“I have a feeling we’ll get along very well.”
