One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 78
To reiterate, Stands are manifestations of one’s spirit.
Just as a repairman always carries a hammer and wrench, it’s perfectly reasonable for me, Jon Joestar, a fan of team battles, to awaken a skill that lets me summon allies.
When facing a strong enemy, I can simply shout, “My son, Lü Bu…”
Oops, wrong context.
I mean, “My nephew, Jotaro, help me!”
Then Jotaro would appear through the ‘Gate of Time and Space,’ perform a time-stop, and together, we’d unleash a flurry of Ora’s. How satisfying would that be?
So, while watching King for entertainment is fine, the true strongest summoner is none other than me, 2.5 JoJo!
Scanning Jon’s expression, the younger Jotaro adjusted his hat.
Just as he was about to say something, his figure started to fade.
“Is it time already?”
The younger Jotaro looked at his gradually transparent hand, saying, “Anyway, hurry back and don’t make the family worry.”
“I know, I know.” Jon waved.
With his current spiritual power, he could summon only two projections at a time, and each could remain for about three minutes.
To summon more, he needed to wait for the ‘Gate of Time and Space’ to cool down.
Jon mused that once Little D completed its metamorphosis, this ability should have room for further upgrades…
The younger Jotaro disappeared, and the white-clad Jotaro couldn’t help but adjust his hat.
Summoning projections from parallel worlds – what an astonishing ability!
Speaking of which, he thought, his younger self really was quite handsome.
“Jotaro-san, you were smiling just now,” Josuke suddenly pointed out with his sharp eyes.
Jotaro immediately put on a serious face, “You saw wrong.”
“Really?” Josuke scratched his head.
“If he says you saw wrong, then you saw wrong. A guy with only two seconds of time-stop left, what’s the point of arguing with him?” Jon patted Josuke’s shoulder.
Jotaro: ???
At that moment, Polnareff cleared his throat, “Jotaro, Mr. Joestar, what are we going to do next… I mean, are we going to take on ‘Passione’?”
Hearing the term, Giorno’s ears perked up despite his attempt to appear cool.
“Well,” Joseph smacked his lips and looked at Jotaro.
Jotaro was silent for a few seconds, then looked at Jon.
Jon caught off guard, looked at Josuke.
Josuke was confused, “Hey, I’m just here to hang out with you guys. Don’t look at me!”
“My foolish brother, one day you’ll be a Stand user who can hold his own…”
Jon was about to lighten the mood when Jotaro interrupted.
“Let’s get serious!”
Jon clicked his tongue in annoyance but then declared, “Of course, we fight! Not only fight but also crush ‘Passione’ and Diavolo!”
Giorno interjected, “That’s impossible!”
Seeing all eyes on him, Giorno shrugged, “You outsiders don’t understand how powerful ‘Passione’ is in Naples. The gang, the police, even the government are in cahoots with them. It’s suicide to take them on with just a few people.”
Polnareff nodded in agreement, “The blond kid is right. If it weren’t for Diavolo’s overwhelming power in Naples, I wouldn’t be in this predicament.”
He looked around the room, “I really must thank you all. Without you, I don’t know how long I would’ve been hiding here.”
Hiding?
Jon’s mind went to some unsavory thoughts.
“Yare yare daze,” Jotaro, hands in their pockets, said impassively, “No matter what, this needs to be resolved.”
Resolved = Ora-ing the crap out of him.
Back in the day, ‘The Lovers’ got a three-and-a-half-page Ora from Jotaro. Given what Diavolo has done to Polnareff, Jon figured he deserved at least a full page.
“You’re insane, all of you!” Giorno looked at Jotaro in disbelief, “I’ve already told you how terrifying ‘Passione’ is, why are you still so eager to die?”
Hearing this, Jon couldn’t help but laugh.
After a few seconds, he regained his composure and gently said to Giorno, “Earlier, I told you there’s no future in becoming a mafia star, and you didn’t believe me. Now, let me show you what a true mafia is.”
Jon: Diavolo, just look at those pathetic minions you have, and you. You’re neither human nor ghostly. And you dare to chase Polnareff? In the Umberto Gallery, don’t let me catch sight of you, or I’ll pull out your hair and punch your face!
Jotaro: I warn you, pink octopus, opposing us will not end well for you. Remember that!
Jon: Come, Josuke, show them what you got!
Josuke: DORARARARARARA! (Crazy Diamond punches like lightning)
Giorno: (??) Stunned.jpg

The Next Day
Naples, Blue Bay Restaurant, Private Room.
“Listen, Fugo, the assignments you’ve given me are just too difficult!” Narancia pleaded with his friend, “Just one day off, please!”
“No way!” Fugo immediately refused.
With a sigh, he patted Narancia’s shoulder reassuringly, “Narancia, you have to believe in yourself. Didn’t you master the multiplication table I taught you the other day?”
“Well, that’s true,” Narancia said, biting his pencil, “One times one is one, two times two is six, three times three is nine – simple math like that is no problem for me.”
Fugo froze, “What did you just say?”
“One times one is one, two times two is six, three times three…”
Before Narancia could finish, Fugo grabbed his hair and slammed his head onto the table, “Two times two is four! Damn it! How many times do I have to teach you before you understand, you idiot!”
“You just said the forbidden number, didn’t you.”
Mista suddenly looked up, glaring at Fugo.
“Seriously.”
Things had escalated to the point where Abbacchio couldn’t just sit by.
He stood up, visibly annoyed, “You guys are getting on my nerves.”
“Huh?”
All three turned to look at Abbacchio.
Abbacchio stared them down fearlessly.
At that moment, Bucciarati entered the room in his spotted suit.
Seeing his unruly subordinates, he rubbed his temples in frustration, “Alright, calm down, everyone. Mr. Polpo has a mission for us.”
At his words, Mista and the others settled down, asking eagerly, “Bucciarati, what’s the mission?”
Bucciarati’s expression turned serious.
“Mr. Polpo has tasked our squad with eliminating an enemy of the organization. His name is Jean-Pierre Polnareff.”
