One Piece's Bizzare Adventure - Chapter 79
When your team includes the invincible “Star Platinum,” congratulations, you can relax.
Naples, Galleria Umberto.
“White Rose” Music Bar.
“Why are they so slow?” Jon yawned, bored out of his mind.
“Aren’t they supposed to have eyes and ears all over Naples? We’ve been wandering the streets all morning, and still, no one has approached us?”
Hearing this, Giorno couldn’t help but retort, “Are you in such a hurry to die?”
Jon smiled and countered, “What about you? Knowing it’s dangerous to be with us, why don’t you leave?”
“Of course, it’s for the money.” Giorno replied matter-of-factly.
Pausing, he added, “And, if I can kill you in front of the ‘Passione’ members, maybe I can join that organization.”
“Such a scary Giorno, so ruthless at such a young age,” Jon feigned shock, “I don’t remember teaching you these things!”
Three black lines appeared on Giorno’s forehead.
“You jerk, why do you act like you’re my guardian?!”
“Yare yare daze,” Jotaro adjusted his hat. He had figured it out.
To put it simply, no one here was a match for Jon’s silver tongue.
Giorno just couldn’t catch a break, not even a little.
“But, Jon-san,” Josuke suddenly interjected, “Aren’t we about to fight the biggest gang in the area? Is it really okay to be this relaxed?”
Looking at the group’s activities that morning:
1. Went to the biggest shopping street in Naples, bought expensive suits and shoes, and changed clothes.
2. Purchased jewelry at a jewellery store.
3. Sampled local delicacies.
4. Took photos and group selfies.
Is this the atmosphere before a big battle?
It was more like a socialite travel group!
Jon was puzzled, “Fighting ‘Passione,’ shouldn’t they be the ones who are scared?”
Uh…
Josuke couldn’t find the words.
Suddenly, Polnareff burst into laughter.
He laughed and gave a thumbs-up.
Such a bold statement!
I, Polnareff, really admire young people like you.
“Yare yare daze,” Jotaro smirked.
Since Jon appeared, both his life and battles had taken a strange turn.
Still…
Looking around, he felt reassured.
Not to mention himself, a simple marine biologist whose “Star Platinum” was just an ordinary stand.
Jon had incredible physical strength and versatile tactics, always keeping people on their toes.
Josuke’s “Crazy Diamond” at full power was as strong as “Star Platinum” and had a powerful healing ability—both offensive and supportive.
Polnareff, an old comrade with exquisite swordsmanship.
This team configuration was already quite formidable.
What?
You’re asking where Joseph is.
The old man was too advanced in age, barely able to use his stand, so he stayed safely at the “SPW Foundation” hotel.

Seeing Jotaro remain silent, Jon thought he was worried about the enemies and said lightly, “Don’t worry, nephew. Uncle will teach you how to clear this without taking any damage.
“Later, go outside and pick up some stones, put them in your pocket. When the enemy arrives, just use ‘Star Platinum’ to throw the stones with all your might.”
Clearing the level with the simplest method.
Open Jon’s tactical manual and it’s full of one word in every blank space—’Charge’!
Star Platinum + Silver Chariot + Crazy Diamond, maximum physical output.
A battle of wits?
A battle of wits my foot!
Jon’s suggestion was reasonable. With the power of “Star Platinum,” stones thrown with full force would be like bullets from a Barrett sniper rifle.
But, it still felt awkward for Jotaro.
Jon patted Jotaro’s shoulder, “If you think throwing stones lacks style, just use your ultimate skill.”
“I know this one!” Josuke eagerly answered, “It’s ‘Time Stop,’ right!”
“Wrong!” Jon corrected seriously, “Star Platinum’s ultimate skill is ‘Star Finger’!”
Jotaro: …
Star Platinum: ?(?°?°;)?
How do you even know that?
Jotaro unconsciously pulled his hat down, trying to hide his face.
But Polnareff clapped his hands, “I remember! When we fought ‘Anubis,’ Jotaro, you used it.”
Getting excited, he was about to reminisce when he heard a strange noise.
Looking towards the source, he saw a mini airplane strapped with explosives approaching.
A toy?
No!
A stand attack!
Realizing this, Polnareff shouted, “Enemies are here, get down!”
However, two people reacted even faster.
“Star Platinum: The World!”
“Finger Gun!”
A compressed air bullet shot out.
Time stopped.
In the stillness, Jotaro controlled “Star Platinum” to fly towards the enemy stand.
One hand in his pocket, he pointed forward with the other.
“Star Platinum” understood, bringing its index and middle fingers together, and poked towards the plane.
Grow, my fingers—Star Finger!
Jotaro: What are you doing?
Star Platinum: Attacking.
Jotaro: We agreed not to use this move.
Star Platinum: I wanted to try it.
Jotaro: Yare yare daze.
Two seconds passed, and “Star Platinum” returned to Jotaro’s body.
Time resumed.
“Boom!”
The mini airplane emitted thick black smoke and wobbled to the ground.
At the same time, outside the bar…
“Ah!” Narancia spat blood and collapsed into Fugo’s arms, “My Aerosmith…”
Bucciarati and the others were shocked.
“Narancia! Are you okay?”
“Hang in there, Narancia!”
“Damn Polnareff!”
In just one exchange, the scout Narancia was down.
Jean-Pierre Polnareff.
What a terrifying enemy!
(Polnareff: Meow meow meow?)
“Fugo, Abbacchio, take Narancia and retreat. Mista and I will cover you!” Bucciarati ordered without hesitation.
“Understood!” “Leave it to us.”
Fugo and Abbacchio nodded repeatedly.
Their stands were not suited for direct combat, one being not good at fighting and the other being too dangerous to keep around.
Mista frowned, spinning the cylinder of his revolver, “Bucciarati, I can handle this alone. As the leader, you shouldn’t be on the front line.”
“That’s nonsense,” Bucciarati summoned “Sticky Fingers,” “Because I’m your leader, I must ensure your safety!”
Mista hesitated, then smiled, “Alright, let’s fight side by side.”
“Good!” Bucciarati nodded.
“Good!”
Mista turned his gaze to the bar entrance.
Half a second later, he realized.
Wait.
Who was that just now?
