Only I Know the Plot of the Anime World - Chapter 11
Faced with the protagonist’s roar, Fang Bo’s response was simple.
Bang!
He punched Eren, knocking him to the ground.
This action immediately caused tension among many, but Commander Pixis waved his hand, signaling everyone to wait and see.
“Save your pathetic weakness. Do you think I’d risk a court-martial to falsely accuse a comrade?”
A straightforward sentence: shut Eren up.
True, he didn’t know Jason well, but Jason didn’t seem like someone who would falsely accuse a comrade. What benefit would that bring?
“Wait.” Eren shook his head violently, almost caught up in Jason’s argument.
The issue wasn’t proving the false accusation but explaining why those three would kill Marco.
Without a clear motive, this incident would undoubtedly be questionable.
As if reading Eren’s thoughts, Fang Bo’s tone suddenly turned grave. Squatting down, he looked intently at the protagonist. “Eren, you’ve seen the Colossal Titan more than once, haven’t you? Have you never questioned its appearance?”
“What are you trying to say?”
“The bizarre golden lightning, the sudden disappearance. Isn’t it just like your Titan transformation?”
In other words, the Colossal Titan was also human.
Many present had similar thoughts, so they weren’t too surprised. The sharper-minded, like Commander Pixis, had a vague idea of what Fang Bo would say next.
“Hey, kid.” Levi stepped forward, his calm eyes hiding turbulent emotions. “You’re not saying…”
“Exactly.” Fang Bo nodded affirmatively, each word teasing the nerves of everyone present. “I overheard their conversation, confirming that Bertholdt is the Colossal Titan and Reiner is the Armored Titan.”
Eren, too shocked, stood speechless.
“I was about to leave when Marco appeared, admitting he overheard the conversation.”
“Then Reiner and Bertholdt attacked Marco, and the newly arrived recruit Annie removed his 3D Maneuver Gear, leaving him to be devoured by Titans.”
The room fell into a dead silence. No one expected a third Titan to be hidden among the new recruits.
“Come to think of it, those three seem to be from the same hometown,” a trainer-like man hesitantly added, delivering a final blow.
The three came together. If two had issues, the third couldn’t be innocent.
Even without hearing it firsthand, they had to treat the third as a Titan.
Everyone’s expressions revealed their joy. After much hardship, they finally identified the Titans. Now, they just needed to plan their capture.
However, things wouldn’t end so quickly.
“Impossible!” Hearing Annie was also a suspect, Eren couldn’t sit still. He jumped up to grab Jason’s collar.
The girl who taught him hand-to-hand combat, who always acted like a lady but was a violent maniac, hid a soft heart beneath her cold exterior.
Yes, Eren could sense that, though he might not understand why.
Marco’s death could wait; he couldn’t accept Jason’s malicious accusation.
Eren’s sudden outburst made Levi instinctively lift his right leg. In a moment, he’d send Eren flying.
He didn’t trust Eren much. Kicking or even drawing his blade wasn’t out of the question.
But Levi was a beat slow this time. As soon as he lifted his leg, Jason drew his blade and held it to Eren’s neck.
“Warning you, better understand your position.” Eren’s mouth softened under the blade’s threat, though his eyes remained furious.
Seeing this, Fang Bo’s face broke into a bright smile, but it wasn’t warm; it was filled with malice.
“You’re even more naive than I thought. Do you even know who you’re speaking for?”
“Bertholdt is the Colossal Titan, meaning Shiganshina District was destroyed by him. If I’m not mistaken, your hometown is there, right?”
Eren froze, memories of the Colossal Titan kicking the wall and his mother being devoured by a Titan flooding his mind.
“That person is really…”
“Whether it’s true, we’ll soon find out.” Fang Bo turned to a manic-looking woman.
Hange Zoë, one of the Survey Corps’ squad leaders, was a famous scientist whose research yielded many Titan discoveries.
Having captured two Titans, she was eager to study them, hoping to uncover the truth about Titans.
“To keep their secret, I believe those three will act, perhaps to secretly kill the captured Titans.”
That night, Reiner and Annie planned to act, fearing Hange would discover the Pure Titans’ secret and test Annie’s loyalty to Marley.
During Marco’s death, Annie showed reluctance and needed to prove her loyalty through action.
Of the trio, Bertholdt didn’t participate, but Fang Bo wouldn’t let him off.
If he could sever the spinal nerve, Bertholdt would lose his transformation ability. It wasn’t hard.
He just needed to find the nerve on the back of the neck and cut along the spinal nerve root.
In simpler terms, stabbing the neck could almost guarantee a kill on the Marleyan warrior in human form.
Otherwise, severing limbs wouldn’t kill them but would hasten their transformation.
For other new reincarnators, even if they overheard the trio’s conversation by luck, they’d likely fail during the mission.
The chance of death was over 70%, or the space wouldn’t issue such a severe warning.
“Completing the mission is rare, let alone single-handedly killing Bertholdt.”
Considering previous mission experiences, Fang Bo knew the richness of the rewards depended on his performance.
Killing the Colossal Titan would yield extraordinary rewards.
It was worth the gamble.
Over the next half-hour, Commander Pixis began assigning tasks. Given Jason’s background, he agreed to his special request.
“It’s finally starting.”
