Only I Know the Plot of the Anime World - Chapter 27
Both sides, engaged in a fierce cannon battle, were soon drawn to the figure soaring into the sky.
At this moment, Fang Bo, relying on gas propulsion, had completely freed himself from gravity’s grasp, flying like a bird released from its cage.
Waves crashed around him, and his acrobatic movements in the air resembled a romantic waltz.
Dodging through a hail of bullets, the unique thrill felt like a bolt of lightning, electrifying every cell in his body.
Fang Bo’s hair flew wildly in the wind, his eyes fixed on the approaching ship as bullets tore through his flesh, creating sprays of blood.
?You were shot by a matchlock gun, causing 8 points of piercing damage.?
?You received a critical hit from a flintlock gun, causing 14+6 points of piercing damage.?
?You were shot by a matchlock gun, causing 10 points of piercing damage.?
Health: 58/96 (+26)
In an instant, Fang Bo had lost over forty health points. If not for his incredible speed, he might have been killed outright.
Fortunately, he had made it through.
Reaching the ship’s right side, he used his grappling hook to anchor himself firmly, then took a swig from a flask of strong rum.
?Drinking strong rum, your health +20, constitution +1?
Health: 88/106 (+36)
Almost fully recovered, the next step was to launch the cannonballs.
Pressing the gas controller hard, Fang Bo rocketed to the height of the lookout post. Seeing the terrified lookout, he smiled kindly before using the rotational power of his maneuver gear to hurl all the cannonballs from his bag.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The enemy ship was engulfed in flames in an instant, even the main mast crashing onto the deck with a loud boom.
?Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) activated, health +1?
?Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) activated, health +2?

Four successive prompts indicated the excellent results of his attack.
With only nine health points left to the world’s bonus limit, he might max out his talent by the end of this battle if he got lucky.
On the roof of the captain’s cabin, Fang Bo took advantage of the terrain to engage the enemy with his pistol.
Though his firepower was lacking, his goal wasn’t to kill but to draw the enemy’s fire to help his pirate crew.
As long as he stayed behind the ship’s cover and didn’t stand up to shoot wildly, the pirates below couldn’t touch him.
The enemy ship lost its mobility when the mast was broken. Despite their desperate resistance, Braku was alongside them within five minutes.
“Attack!” Fat Buji charged in first, like a crazed mother pig, slashing through the enemy ranks with his sharp claws.
But he couldn’t reveal long; a skilled enemy quickly blocked his charge.
Meanwhile, several Black Cat Pirates had fallen to enemy gunfire. The close distance made the climbing pirates easy targets.
The best way was for someone to hold off the enemy briefly so the pirates could board the enemy ship.
The best candidate was naturally Captain Kuro, with a bounty of 16 million.
However, true to his ruthless reputation, Kuro remained unfazed by his men’s deaths, calmly polishing his cat claws without intervening.
Eventually, Zango stepped up, leaping to the enemy’s bow and swinging a circular saw on thin wires.
“One, two, Zango!”
With his hat-pressing action, many enemy pirates fell into a hypnotic state.
Though the effect was limited, it was enough to support the Black Cat Pirates’ boarding.
Once the first pirate stepped onto the deck, close combat ensued.
Observing closely, Fang Bo noticed the Black Cat Pirates excelled in speed.
Even the fat Buji left afterimages when moving, not to mention Sam, who was already a speed specialist.
“The time is right.” Fang Bo jumped from the roof, landing lightly on the rear deck.
Spotting an enemy with his back turned, he pressed Black Star against the man’s temple and fired three shots.
?Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) activated, health +1?
“Eight points to go.”
Kicking open a partition in the cabin, Fang Bo jumped in to search for valuables.
He avoided the captain’s cabin as it was too conspicuous. It might not fall into his hands even if it had good stuff.
Quietly gaining wealth was better, at least avoiding unexpected competitors.
Of course, any danger in there would be his alone to face.
“Freeze!” Just a few steps in, a black muzzle emerged from the side.
The holder was a young man, clearly terrified, probably a newbie.
He didn’t mean to kill but to subdue the intruder. However, his meager agility was no match for Fang Bo’s perception.
Bang!
The pre-aimed gun fired, hitting the young man between the eyes, critically wounding him.
About to finish him off, Fang Bo’s instincts flared, and he dove aside without thinking.
A bullet hit where he had stood, ripples spreading from the impact point.
To his shock, the bullet refracted off the floor and struck his thigh.
?You were shot by #12047, causing 18 points of piercing damage.?
?Special bullet effect activated, you are bleeding, losing 1 point of health every 5 seconds for 60 seconds.?
?You are affected by an unknown toxin, constitution -1, losing 2 points of health every second for 10 seconds.?
?Refraction ability activated, additional 2 points of damage.?
Ignoring the reduced constitution, the enemy’s bullet alone would cost him 52 health over the next 60 seconds.
This was the terror of a mature gunner, a path many pursued despite its risks due to its high damage potential.
His attacker was another reincarnator, likely an old acquaintance.
“Finally decided to act, Piglet?”
Piglet’s voice came from the doorway, “Old Cat warned me about you, said you were hiding a lot. Didn’t expect a 70-point bullet wouldn’t kill you.”
To achieve high damage, one must invest in bullets. In other words, a gunner’s strength often depended on their wealth.
With dozens of such bullets, Piglet could solo this pirate crew.
Casually reloading, Piglet asked, “Jason, why not attack?”
Drinking more rum and watching his health recover, Fang Bo smiled, “I’m waiting for my health to recover. What are you waiting for?”
“He’s waiting for me.” A familiar sigh came as Old Cat appeared at the door.
Flexing his mechanical arm, Old Cat looked regretful, “I really like you, you know? Your keen observation is precious.”
“Too bad you wouldn’t team up. Ignored all my hints.”
His face contorted with anger, his friendly mask replaced by deep hatred.
“No one rejects me. All who look down on me die. You’re no exception.”
Raising his mechanical hand, Old Cat’s face twisted with rage, “Remember my bar trick? I wanted the Navy to kill you, but you escaped.”
“And Piglet? He’s been mine all along. You were always in my plans.”
As fire spewed forth, a figure appeared to block it.
Roar!!!
Tutu, like a solid rock, shielded Fang Bo from all attacks.
Meanwhile, Big Head lunged at the stunned Piglet.
With 12 strengths, it could be more exceptional but enough to overpower a gunner like Piglet.
Unsurprisingly, Piglet was pinned and punched hard in the stomach.
Knowing it was life or death, Piglet shot a special bullet into Big Head’s chest.
Despite its dire look, the shot wasn’t enough to kill the 80-health giant.
Quickly checking the battle report, ignoring the giant’s wild bites, Piglet fired his last special bullet.
A headshot, nearly 60 damage, should have killed it.
But to his shock, the giant’s head began to regenerate.
“Heal!”
Fang Bo appeared, using his healing ability to save his summon.
“Goodbye.” In Piglet’s despairing eyes, Big Head bit off his head.
