Only I Know the Plot of the Anime World - Chapter 41
With the two reincarnators gone, no one was left to stop him.
He ordered his men to put away their weapons, so Fang Bo knocked on the table lightly. “We’ve been here for a while now, and no one has come to greet us?”
The waiter snapped out of his daze, but before he could step forward, Sanji intercepted him.
“Let me handle this.”
Sanji knew these people were trouble, so he couldn’t let anyone else take the risk.
The young Sanji was already a skilled fighter, not inferior to old Zeff. If anything happened, he could handle it.
Step by step, Sanji approached the table, his curly eyebrows fixed on the pirate with a five-million-berry bounty. He asked calmly, “What would you like to eat?”
Fang Bo suddenly smiled and beckoned Sanji with a finger, signaling him to come closer.
“What is it?” Sanji asked impatiently, but for the safety of the restaurant, he lowered his head slightly.
Then he heard shocking words.
“I want to know why a descendant of the Vinsmoke family is working as a chef.”
Hearing his identity being exposed, Sanji’s heart raced, but he maintained his composure. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“No matter,” Fang Bo said, waving at a distant waiter. “Hey, can I get a bowl of beef noodle soup, please?”
Fang Bo smiled as the chef approached the kitchen and suggested, “I don’t like scallions. If there are scallions in the soup, I’ll kill everyone on this ship. If not, I’ll leave immediately.”
Hearing this, Sanji clenched his cigarette angrily, wanting to kick Fang Bo in the face.
But thinking of everyone’s safety, he suppressed his urge.
Time ticked by, and the atmosphere in the hall remained tense. The chefs, sensing something was wrong, all picked up their weapons.
However, to the experienced Black Cat Pirates, these chefs’ killing intent was not intense enough.
If a fight broke out, the Black Cats could easily wipe them out with minimal losses.
This confidence came from strength.
In the past, even with Captain Kuro, they never felt this strong. But since Jason the Marauder became the first mate, the Black Cats seemed invincible.
If Fang Bo’s strength were higher, he might even replace Zan Gao as captain.
Lightly shaking a rope, Zan Gao continued to practice his hypnosis techniques.
It wasn’t directly applicable in combat but helped train his mental control.
More muscular control meant the skill’s damage would proportionally increase with the same mental energy.
Fang Bo practiced whenever he had spare time, believing that practice made perfect.
Soon, the chef returned with the beef noodle soup.
Usually, most beef noodle soups would have all the seasonings added, but Sanji wasn’t particularly worried.
He knew this chef typically didn’t like adding too many seasonings.
As the beef noodle soup was placed on the table, Sanji noticed no scallions.
With that, this guy should honor his promise and leave.
Just as Sanji was about to tell him to leave, he saw the pirate smile maliciously at him.
“I don’t eat beef.”
The muzzle of the Dragoon flashed red, and a flame bullet exploded on the chef’s back. The blood spray evaporated mid-air in the intense heat.
?You activated the skill Ammo Master, consuming 2 points of mental energy. Your next bullet will deal additional fire damage.?
?Your flame bullet dealt 28+6 mixed damage to Chef Sam, triggering a burning effect that will cause continuous fire damage for the next ten seconds.?
This shot would cause at least 40+ damage to the chef, including fire damage. This was the power of an epic weapon.
“You bastard!” Sanji roared, swearing to beat this guy to a pulp.
COLLIER SHOOT!
Sanji jumped into the air, aiming a powerful kick at the pirate’s neck.
It would send the enemy flying with incredible force if it hit.
He did land the kick, but the unfortunate giant Tutu flew, not Jason the Marauder.
Before Sanji could land, Dato’s punch sent him rolling across the floor, coming to a stop several meters away.
Three years before Luffy set sail, Sanji’s combat skills were far from his future prowess, at best comparable to an aging Zeff, a mid-tier elite.
Given time, Sanji could easily handle the three giants, but right now, time was not on his side.
“Time’s up,” Fang Bo smiled, raising the Dragoon, aiming at Head Chef Zeff, who was fighting Paul.
With Zeff’s back turned, without the power of Haki, he couldn’t dodge this shot.
“Old man, watch out!!!”
Bang!
The lightning bullet exploded on Zeff’s back, causing less damage than the flame bullet but adding a solid paralyzing effect.
Zeff’s hesitation allowed Paul to deliver a fatal slash.
An old saying goes, “Youth beats age.” In the pirate world, sixty was considered old, especially for a disabled man like Zeff.
Had Paul not held back, this slash could have been fatal.
“Still want to resist?” Fang Bo asked the red-eyed Sanji, smirking as the cursed blade pressed against Zeff’s neck.
Sanji had no choice but to give in.
“See, much better this way.”
Fang Bo walked behind Sanji, inspecting him before aiming the gun at his knee.
With a loud bang, Sanji fell, screaming in pain as he clutched his knee.
“Sorry, but your strength is impressive. It’s safer to cripple you for now.”
At that moment, Fang Bo seemed like a demon, his smile sending chills down everyone’s spine.
Seeing the chefs ready to fight, he silenced them with a single sentence: “Don’t act rashly, or you’ll waste Sanji’s sacrifice.”
Fang Bo ordered Sanji to be taken aboard, and the Black Cat Pirates left the sea restaurant.
“Is the message out?”
“Yes, the navy received it.”
“Good. The Vinsmoke family should come soon.”
Fang Bo planned to use Sanji as bait to negotiate with the Vinsmokes.
He set up a decoy to prevent being ambushed, hiding the injured Sanji in a secret location.
Even if the Vinsmokes wanted to double-cross him, they would only find Sanji with his guidance, likely ending up with a corpse.
Initially worried they’d take too long, Fang Bo was surprised to see Germa 66’s moving fortress on the horizon by midday the next day.
Raising his head, he saw a girl with pink hair, confirming his suspicions.
A beautiful woman in a mini-skirt with a seductive figure and butterfly-shaped cape, her delicate features unforgettable.
She was Reiju Vinsmoke, the eldest daughter of the Vinsmoke family, known as “Poison Pink.”
And she was Sanji’s doting sister.
Reiju and her brothers were genetically modified by their father. They gained superhuman abilities and a unique resistance to toxins, allowing them to absorb and release poisons.
Of the five siblings, only Reiju and Sanji retained basic human emotions, but she couldn’t disobey her father’s orders.
Hearing about her brother, Reiju rushed over, hoping to free Sanji before he was taken back to their heartless family as a political pawn for an alliance with a Yonko.
Landing softly on the deck like a feather, Reiju surveyed the surroundings before focusing on the cloaked man.
“Are you Jason the Marauder?”
Ignoring her question, Fang Bo refused to let her control the conversation.
Others might not know, but he did: Reiju did not intend to return Sanji to Germa.
If she did, she’d likely free him shortly after.
“Where is he?” Seeing no response, Reiju’s calm facade cracked.
Fang Bo opened his hand, revealing a strand of Sanji’s hair.
“He’s with me. But I won’t release him without seeing some benefits.”
Taking a deep breath, Reiju asked, “What do you want in exchange?”
Finally, the anticipated prompt from the system arrived.
?You have triggered the hidden mission: Sanji’s Escape.?
?Mission Brief: You’ve exposed Sanji’s hidden identity, facing unknown challenges.?
?Mission Requirement: Complete your transaction with the Vinsmokes.?
?Warning: Ensure the hostage’s safety or face an unstoppable retaliation.?
There were no specific demands; completing the transaction would count as success.
It seemed simple but was fraught with hidden dangers.
Without knowing the Vinsmoke family’s details, handing Sanji over carelessly would likely result in mission failure.
Insisting on a deal with Germa might provoke Reiju to act to protect her brother.
No matter the choice, danger loomed, testing his decisions.
“I need something fixed.” Fang Bo held up his damaged goggles. “Get this repaired, and maybe I’ll help you with something big.”
“I can tell you don’t want Sanji to go back, right?”
