Only I Know the Plot of the Anime World - Chapter 47
Due to the commotion caused by the two captains, everyone else was forced to leave the tavern.
Even a slight touch from that golden battle gun would result in broken bones and torn muscles. After seeing Sam’s fate, no one wanted to experience it firsthand.
“Kid,” Paru said arrogantly as he came outside, holding his silver shield. “Choosing me as your opponent will be the biggest mistake of your life.”
Ignoring Paru’s words, Fang Bo loaded his special ammunition. A piercing round exploded directly in the centre of Paru’s shield.
[You activated the skill “Ammunition Master,” consuming two spirit points. The following bullet can ignore 60% of physical defence.]
[Your piercing round deals 30 points of mixed damage to Paru.]
This guy had high physical attributes. The best way to deal with him was to wear him down slowly.
Getting anxious would be useless and could cost him his composure.
“Damn it!” Paru looked at the cracks on his shield, filled with grief and anger.
He raised his hands, and blue flames flickered on his massive shield.
Seeing this, Fang Bo immediately fired the hooks of his 3D manoeuvre gear. With the help of gas propulsion, he barely avoided the oncoming flaming steel balls.
Although his agility was low, his mobility was strong enough to allow him to flip and turn freely with the hooks, far outpacing the cumbersome metal.
After the ten-second limit passed, a shot hit the enemy below, making Paru scream in rage, wanting to smack Fang Bo down with a single slap.
Knowing he couldn’t catch Fang Bo, the ridiculous shield man immediately turned to run, hoping to assist his boss.
As he reached the tavern’s door frame, cat claw blades swiped past his head, and in the next second, his right ear fell into the dirt.
“Ah!” Paru screamed in pain, covering his cheek, forgetting his earlier confidence.
Like Admiral Krieg, he believed in invincible defence, but unlike Krieg, Paru couldn’t afford a set of golden armour.
“Tsk, what a pity,” Fang Bo said, looking at the fallen ear.
“You’re screaming, but aren’t you going to pick up your ear?” He rotated his dragoon, experiencing the joy of being a gunslinger for the first time.
Using speed to wear down opponents and using bullets to chip away at their lives felt great. No wonder so many people chose to become gunslingers.
They say agile assassins counter, gunslingers and strength-based brutes are unbeatable up close, and even those on perception paths claim they can dodge bullets with their eyes closed.
The only thing gunslingers can boast about in this contempt chain is dealing with tank-type reincarnators.
Just like Fang Bo did with Paru, even though Paru was an elite pirate, he hadn’t even touched Fang Bo’s clothes.
“Damn it!!!” Paru couldn’t accept the reality and charged at Fang Bo like a mad bull.
Unfortunately, Fang Bo was prepared. He hooked and flew into the air with his 3D manoeuvre gear.
Paru tried to grab him, only to find his head right in front of Fang Bo’s gun. Seeing his blood-stained face, Fang Bo pulled the trigger.
Bang!
Brains splattered like a cracked watermelon. Before hitting the ground, Paru had already lost his life.
[You obtained a plot chest (blue)]
“Blue quality?” Fang Bo looked conflicted. He didn’t expect this guy to be so weak.
Supposedly, he was the third in command and even worse than the navy lieutenant Fang Bo, who had been defeated initially.
Without opening the chest, he remembered the agreement with the onmyoji lady to share all chests equally after the battle.
Fang Bo checked his remaining spirit points and prepared to assist others, knowing Arlong might not be a match for Akimichi.
Before he could move, a figure ran from the other side of the tavern. The fat, twisting body revealed the identity of Arlong.
Arlong was covered in bruises, with a severely damaged nose and a twisted left arm.
The demon Akimichi chased relentlessly, his crutches powerful and his iron balls heavy enough to easily shatter Paru’s shield.
While Paru was a weakling, Akimichi was a solid elite monster, one of the strongest.
[Akimichi (Demon)]
[Attack Tendency: Strong]
[Attribute Tendency: Strength]
[Feature: Strong Will]
[Threat Assessment: Evenly Matched]
Strong Will: Possesses iron-like willpower, reducing the effects of hostile states.
“Evenly matched?” Fang Bo understood this to mean that Akimichi’s most vital attribute was likely close to his own.
Spirit: 19/25
Fang Bo guessed that Akimichi’s strength was around the same range, differing by no more than three points.
If he could take Akimichi down, the chest drop would likely be higher than blue quality.
“Hold on,” Fang Bo tried to calm Arlong’s panic and quickly ran to assist her in dealing with Akimichi.
Seeing reinforcements, Arlong gritted her teeth and swung her club at the pursuer.
Her strength was sufficient, but her movements needed to be faster. Akimichi easily dodged sideways.
With a swift turn and a powerful strike, the iron ball hit Arlong’s waist, her screams as loud as Paru’s.
Compared to the useless companion, Akimichi’s combat experience was much more decadent. Seeing someone aiming a gun at him, he pulled Arlong in front of him as a shield.
“Troublesome,” Fang Bo muttered, giving up on shooting for now as he couldn’t kill Arlong.
He hesitated to use the giant summoning spell when Akimichi tossed the large woman at him like a boulder.
Dodging Arlong instinctively, Fang Bo crouched and aimed his flintlock, knowing the enemy would use this chance to approach.
Sure enough, Akimichi appeared soon, and Fang Bo fired an incendiary round.
The attack hit Akimichi in flames, but his cold, ruthless eyes showed no pain.
Fang Bo felt a chill from within and quickly activated the giant summoning spell.
But it was too late. The iron ball hit Fang Bo’s chest hard as golden lightning appeared.
Demon Battle Technique: Bone Shattering!
Fang Bo’s health plummeted, and he was flung like a doll, bouncing on the ground twice.
“Cough.” He spat blood, enduring the pain to stand up, ate a delicious cake, and injected himself with a strong adrenaline shot. With five more points in the constitution, he barely pulled his health back to safety.
Health: 94/160 (+90)
“What a terrifying guy.” With only 12 spirit points left after the summoning, Fang Bo knew he had to be careful and couldn’t use special bullets freely.
Akimichi wasn’t in great shape either, after taking a direct incendiary round and burning for ten seconds.
With the relentless attack of the giant trio, Akimichi was on the defensive, and his counterattacks were barely adequate.
The small licker focused on the lower body, never missing the enemy’s nether region, causing even the stoic Akimichi to sweat profusely.
After smashing the licker with a crutch, blood splattered everywhere. Thinking it was dead, he saw its head rapidly repairing with steam.
“Damn it.”
Before Akimichi could leave, the big head opened its mouth, the stench almost unbearable.
Meanwhile, the licker grabbed his right leg, giving the other two giants a chance to surround him.
Desperate not to be bitten, Akimichi swung his crutches in a flurry.
Demon Battle Technique: Bone Shattering Barrage!
The violent barrage quickly turned the licker and the big head into meat paste, beyond even the giants’ healing abilities.
The sturdiest of the trio still adhered to protecting its summoner, becoming the last barrier between Akimichi and Fang Bo.
With the one-minute cooldown over, Fang Bo ate the last delicious cake, boosting his health to 134 points, ready for the showdown with Akimichi.
Using the giant’s bulk to prevent Akimichi from closing in, he occasionally fired a shot, making Akimichi sweat.
Bang!
Quickly blocking the bullet, Akimichi’s crutch was knocked away.
In that brief moment, Akimichi was caught in the giant’s embrace.
Knowing it was a life-or-death moment, Akimichi broke free with sheer strength, losing a chunk of his shoulder in the process.
Bleeding heavily, Akimichi felt dizzy but bit his tongue to regain focus.
Grabbing his remaining crutch, he smashed the giant’s head. As the body fell, a dark gun barrel appeared before him.
Death’s shadow loomed, and Akimichi swung his crutch with all his might, the force making Fang Bo squint.
He wanted to intimidate Fang Bo to gain a single chance.
Having dealt with the summons, Fang Bo had no chance if Akimichi could get close.
But Fang Bo understood this too well. Ignoring the fearsome iron ball, he calmly pulled the trigger.
“Farewell, demon.”
Bang!
