Only I Know the Plot of the Anime World - Chapter 8
Behind the Attack Titan, two recruits stood on the rooftop, discussing a shocking topic.
“No worries, if anything goes wrong, I’ll just use my Titan to fix it.”
The speaker was a mature-looking blond warrior, Reiner Braun of the 104th Training Corps.
Beside him was a tall, black-haired recruit named Bertholdt Hoover.
Unlike Reiner’s confidence, Bertholdt seemed timid. “But if the operation succeeds, the breach we worked so hard to create will be sealed.”
“It’s fine, I’ve found what we need.”
Just as Reiner was about to elaborate, a voice from behind startled them.
“Reiner, Bertholdt, what are you two talking about?”
At this moment, the traitors only had one thought echoing in their minds.
We’ve been exposed!
Shortly after, the discoverer, Marco, was devoured by a Titan because he had lost his 3D Maneuver Gear.
A plot character named Annie, another enemy warrior capable of transforming into a Titan also joins them during this incident.
The three traitors left the crime scene without realizing someone was watching them from the shadows.
ID 14552 triggered a hidden mission: Traitors Must Die.
Mission Requirement: Defeat the three Marleyan warriors: Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie.
Hint: You can use the power of plot characters.
Warning: This mission’s difficulty level exceeds the threshold and poses nearly fatal risks to the reincarnator!
Warning: Accepting this mission will extend your stay in the plot world!
Warning: Your actions will have a significant impact on the plot. Choose wisely!
Do you accept the mission?
Three consecutive cold warnings reminded him that accepting the mission would almost certainly lead to death.
Imagine if another reincarnator faced this choice; they would likely follow the system’s hint and seek help.
This help could only come from the highest authority here, Commander Pixis, and his garrison regiment, whose combat strength was not remarkable.
But the question was, could these forces, even combined, take down the Marleyan trio?
The answer was obviously no.
Even without considering other factors, the Colossal Titan’s transformation, akin to a nuclear explosion, could instantly eradicate the garrison regiment’s forces.
The garrison regiment was barely holding its own against wandering Pure Titans, let alone the formidable three intelligent Titans.
During the Female Titan’s escape from Wall Sina, except for Titan Eren and Mikasa, the garrison regiment contributed almost nothing, offering no help.
Even the most robust Survey Corps was utterly defeated by Annie alone in the open plains.
Blindly reporting the traitors would inevitably result in mission failure.
Many risks were hidden, such as Eren, one of the main fighters, possibly losing his will to fight against Annie.
Without the Attack Titan’s active participation, no blade could shatter the Armored Titan’s armor.
Believing that strength in numbers would win was naive; it would lead to utter defeat.
As Eren was about to complete his stone-carrying task, Fang Bo smiled and chose to accept the mission.
The reincarnator has accepted the hidden mission.
Extended stay by three days.
Mission failure will deduct 1,000 plot points!
The system didn’t explain what would happen if the plot points weren’t enough, and Fang Bo wasn’t interested in finding out. His acceptance meant he had some confidence.
Facing them head-on had low odds, so he planned to weaken their forces strategically.
He could focus on earning mission contribution points and building up his Heart of Steel.
With a burst of gas, Fang Bo shot forward like an arrow. While others avoided Titans, he dove towards them like a cat after mice.
His level 3 mastery gave him exceptional maneuverability. Using the ropes to slide close to the ground, his blade aimed at a tiny Titan ahead.
One swift strike and the tiny Titan fell, though it didn’t drop a treasure chest. However, the following prompt made his effort worthwhile.
Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) activated, +1 health.
A bright smile spread across Fang Bo’s face. Adjusting his position, he used the gas propulsion to soar parallel to a tower.
From this vantage point, he noticed even more Titans than expected, nearly forcing Eren to halt.
“What’s going on? I remember there weren’t this many.” Pondering the reason, he flew towards the scene.
As he approached, he realized the space had likely adjusted the difficulty.
“Right, otherwise the trial mission would be too easy.”
Greeting the guide, he dove into the fray, unleashing his slaughter.
Fang Bo wasn’t reckless enough to face two Titans simultaneously, knowing his limits.
He was smart enough to recognize the real power on the battlefield and stayed close to a critical plot character.
This well-toned plot heroine was none other than Mikasa Ackerman.
He ensured relative safety by sticking close to her, avoiding being overwhelmed by multiple Titans.

Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) activated, +1 health.
Legendary Trait (Heart of Steel) has accumulated four health points.
While the plot mission was still incomplete and Heart of Steel had yet to reach its peak, he completed another title achievement.
Achievement conditions met: You have earned the title “Titan Slayer.”
Titan Slayer: Adds 15% extra damage to Titans (world-specific)
Titan Butcher achievement unlocked: Kill 0/30 Titans.
Unlike “Giant Slayer,” Titan Slayer was more suited for the current plot, so Fang Bo promptly switched titles.
Compared to regular Titans, it was usually a one-hit kill, but against the three Marleyan warriors, 15% damage could be crucial.
“Ha, what’s so great about that?” The fat reincarnator spat as he watched Fang Bo’s rampage.
As the return deadline approached, his respect for the guide waned.
Things might have remained peaceful, but Shaun’s discovery of a green-quality plot treasure chest sparked jealousy.
