Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 16
Ten minutes later, inside the dojo.
Tang An sat upright, a cup of hot tea in front of him. Across from him, Koshiro, wearing glasses, smiled as he examined the Sunflower Manual.
Beside him, Kuina was brewing tea.
Ten minutes ago, Tang An had proposed trading the Sunflower Manual for a boat, and Kuina had introduced him to Koshiro.
Hence, this situation.
“This is truly incredible.”
Koshiro was utterly captivated by the Sunflower Manual.
It was a swordsmanship manual unlike any he had ever seen, providing him with great inspiration.
The most amazing part was the script; he didn’t recognize it, yet he could understand the entire manual.
This alone highlighted the manual’s extraordinary value.
Not to mention the unbelievable content within.
Although much of it was incomprehensible and cryptic, to Koshiro, it was a treasure trove.
“This manual is extremely valuable.”
Koshiro restrained his excitement, closed the manual, and looked thoughtfully at Tang An.
“Are you sure you only want a boat in exchange?”
“Yes.”
Tang An nodded, sighing, “This manual is of no use to me. Right now, I just want to return home.”
“If you only trade it for a boat, you’d be at a loss.”
Koshiro didn’t want to take advantage of Tang An.
This was a principle and part of his swordsmanship.
“If possible, I’d also like some food and treasures worth a million Beli.”
Tang An hesitated before speaking.
“Sure.”
Koshiro agreed readily.
“Thank you.”
“It is I who should thank you. A boat and a million Beli worth of treasures are far less valuable than this manual.”
Koshiro shook his head, smiling.
He had a hunch that this manual could significantly advance his swordsmanship.
“The boat and supplies will be ready by tomorrow morning, but you’ll need to stay here tonight.”
“No problem.”
Tang An wasn’t afraid that Koshiro would rob and kill him.
If Koshiro had ill intentions, he wouldn’t have mentioned the manual’s value earlier.
“Kuina, please arrange a room for our guest and prepare the items he needs. Call Zoro to help.”
“Yes.”
“Wait, I’ll go with you. I’d like to have a look around.”
Seeing Kuina about to leave, Tang An stood up.
“Please follow me.”
Kuina, with a severe expression, led the way out.
“Zoro, come with us to the village.”
Outside the dojo, Kuina called out to Zoro, who was still training hard.
“What is it?”
Zoro, covered in sweat, stopped reluctantly but came over to Kuina.
“Hello.”
Tang An greeted Zoro, who didn’t even glance his way.
“That’s rude.”
Kuina punched Zoro on the head, and he held his head angrily but could do nothing against her.
The three of them then walked down the path to the village to gather the supplies Tang An needed.
That night, Tang An lay in the room arranged for him, staring at the ceiling and thinking.
They had already prepared the boat that day, and tomorrow, they only needed to load the remaining supplies. Kuina and Zoro would definitely help with that.
That would be the best time to act.
Koshiro was engrossed in the Sunflower Manual, and by the time he realized Zoro was dead, Tang An would be long gone, lost in the vast sea.
However, Koshiro had Observation Haki.
But he couldn’t keep it active all the time, right?
Despite the danger, Tang An couldn’t wait any longer.
He only had three months and five days left.
He couldn’t afford to procrastinate.
He had to kill Zoro quickly, then head to Cocoyasi Village to eliminate Nami, and finally find a way to the New World.
Three months wasn’t much time.
Who knew what other unforeseen events might happen, like the storm he just encountered?
If necessary, he would use random teleportation.
If he had more time, he would have liked to stay here for a while, perhaps learn some swordsmanship and master Shave.
With these thoughts in mind, Tang An quickly fell asleep.
That day it had been exhausting, especially with the storm.
The following day, Kuina came to wake Tang An and Zoro to continue preparing the supplies.
Zoro was very reluctant, his face dark with displeasure.
After about two hours, everything was ready.
Looking at the boat, similar to the procurement boat, Tang An saw that the cabin was stocked with a month’s worth of food and treasures worth a million Beli.
Among them were more than ten gold coins, which Tang An pocketed, along with a gold dagger adorned with red and blue gems.
“Mr. Tang An, is there anything else you need?”
The three of them stood on the deck, and Kuina asked Tang An.
“No, that will be all.”
Tang An shook his head.
“Then I wish you a safe journey.”
Kuina clasped her hands together.
“Thank you.”
Tang An smiled. As Kuina and Zoro turned around, he drew his Type 92 pistol without hesitation and aimed at the back of Zoro’s head.
“Bang!”
Blood splattered, and with a painful groan, Kuina fell on Zoro, her chest a bloody mess.
In a critical moment, Kuina, relying on her instincts, had shielded Zoro from the bullet.
“Kuina.”
Falling to the ground, Zoro’s face was splattered with blood.
“You bastard.”
Zoro’s eyes turned red as he got up and charged at Tang An.
Unfortunately, he didn’t have a wooden sword in hand.
Tang An sidestepped Zoro’s punch and delivered a vicious blow to his throat.
Military combat techniques are aimed at killing and targeting vital points.
Unfortunately, the pistol was out of bullets.
Zoro reacted quickly, blocking with his left hand and stumbling back a few steps.
If it had been any other child, they would have been sent flying, but Zoro only staggered back.
Tang An was no longer an ordinary person; he could quickly kill ten adults. This past month I had not been in vain.
Had it been Tang An from a month and a half ago, he wouldn’t have stood a chance against Zoro.
“I will kill you.”
Zoro steadied himself and charged at Tang An again.
Tang An narrowed his eyes. When Zoro got close, he swept his leg, causing Zoro to lose balance and fall, then kicked him in the head.
Zoro crossed his arms to block, sliding across the ground.
Tang An followed closely.
Dodging Tang An’s kick, Zoro quickly got up, panting heavily, his eyes fierce.
Neither spoke as they clashed again.
Tang An’s attacks were ruthless, aiming for the throat, armpits, eyes, and groin.
Barehanded, Zoro’s combat power was clearly insufficient.
“Pff…”
The sound of a blade piercing flesh, Tang An fought dirty and used a weapon.
The gold dagger adorned with red and blue gems plunged halfway into Zoro’s chest.
Had Zoro not dodged at the last moment, it would have pierced his heart.
Tang An pulled out the dagger, hot blood spurting out like a fountain.
Just as Tang An was about to stab a second, third time, a powerful sword aura tore through the air, making Tang An freeze in place.
In an instant, Koshiro, who had been thousands of meters away, appeared on the ship.
Seeing Kuina lying in a pool of blood and Zoro kneeling, barely alive, his eyes were filled with murderous intent.
Raising his hand, he slashed at Tang An from a distance, a brilliant sword light flashing like lightning.
Damn, how did he arrive so quickly?
A miscalculation.
“Random teleportation.”
Without a second thought, Tang An used random teleportation.
It was his only escape. There was no time to consider the consequences.
The fire was already at his eyebrows.
“Boom…”
The entire sea split in two, waves crashing to the horizon.
Koshiro withdrew his sword, his face grim as he stared at the disappearing point of light.
The opponent had vanished using some unknown method.
