Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 26
“Armin!”
In the northern area, the 104th Cadet Corps were engaged in battle. A bald titan with a beard had Armin in its mouth. At the critical moment, Eren appeared, supporting the titan’s upper jaw with one hand and pulling Armin out with the other, only to be swallowed by the bald titan himself.
“Eren!”
Armin, rolling on the rooftops, looked in horror as Eren’s arm was bitten off and swallowed by the titan.
“Eren, Eren!”
Armin’s mind went blank, his gaze vacant and filled with terror.
“Armin, are you alright?”
At this moment, Connie and Jean appeared, grabbing Armin and quickly flying away.
They landed on a high building where Mikasa, Sasha, and others were fighting. The entire area had fallen, and more titans were pouring in through the outer wall gate.
“Connie, did you see Eren?”
Mikasa panted, her body stained with titan blood that was steaming and evaporating.
“No.”
Connie shook his head.
“Eren was eaten by a titan while saving me.”
Losing strength, Armin collapsed to the ground, staring at his hands with fear and tears in his eyes.
“What?”
Everyone around was stunned, doubting their ears, especially Mikasa.
“Armin, what happened?”
Mikasa nearly lost control, grabbing Armin with a pale face.
“Eren… Eren…”
Unable to maintain his composure, Armin broke down.
“I don’t believe it.”
Mikasa’s mind went blank, then she disappeared from the rooftop, determined to confirm it herself.
“Mikasa.”
“How did it come to this?”
“Quick, get out of here, there are three titans coming.”
“Damn it.”
Connie and the others took the distraught Armin away, while Mikasa darted through the alleys, slaying titans one by one until her gas cylinders were depleted.
She crashed to the ground, unable to get up for a long time. In front of her, a five-meter tall, fat titan appeared.
“Is it really going to end like this?”
Lying on the ground, watching the titan approach, Mikasa felt no fear.
“Dragon Soars to the Heavens.”
“Roar…”
A deafening dragon’s roar resounded as a golden dragon descended from the sky, tearing the titan apart into flying pieces of flesh. A figure stood atop the titan, looking at Mikasa.
“Finally, I get to meet you, Mikasa.”
A charming and confident smile, radiant like spring sunshine.
Mikasa was stunned, unable to think. This person had just killed a titan with a single strike, and that golden creature had emerged from his hand.
“Hello, Mikasa.”
Zhou Wei leaped down from the titan, extending a hand to Mikasa, his gesture both elegant and polite.
Mikasa instinctively reached out, and Zhou Wei pulled her up.
“Phew… Saving Mikasa before Eren, just in time.”
Looking at the real-life Mikasa before him, Zhou Wei felt excitement and relief. A life-saving act should be a good start; he must have looked really cool just now!
A twelve-meter tall titan approached from afar, obviously having spotted Zhou Wei and Mikasa.
“Titan.”
Mikasa was startled; her gas cylinders were empty, and she and this mysterious man might be devoured by the titan. Despite witnessing the man’s strength moments ago, she…
“Don’t worry, I’m here.”
Zhou Wei encircled Mikasa’s waist with one hand, then used his Graceful Steps Upon the Waves technique. Like an illusion, they lightly and effortlessly ascended the wall to the rooftop.
“You…”
Standing on the rooftop, Mikasa looked from the ground to the mysterious man beside her, feeling her worldview shatter. How did they get up here? She was certain he hadn’t used any maneuvering gear.
“Here it comes.”
Zhou Wei pointed to the right, where a fifteen-meter tall titan with black hair, green eyes, no lips but double rows of teeth, and pointed ears appeared. It punched a twelve-meter titan away.
“A titan is attacking another titan.”
Seeing the twelve-meter titan sent flying, Mikasa was even more bewildered.
“He will be your companion.”
Main God’s space had a rule prohibiting revealing its existence or the plot to the world’s natives, so Zhou Wei couldn’t explain directly. He could only hint.
“Roar…”
The black-haired, green-eyed titan roared, stomping the twelve-meter titan into mush. After finishing it off, it moved toward other titans aggressively.
From a distance, Tang An and Anka were alerted.
“Has he awakened?”
Seeing the black-haired, green-eyed titan, Tang An knew it was Eren, the Chosen One, transformed into the Attack Titan.
Using his maneuvering gear, Tang An flew towards the Attack Titan.
Anka hesitated but followed.
The appearance of the Attack Titan drew everyone’s attention. Connie, Sasha, and other Garrison soldiers stood on surrounding rooftops, watching the black-haired, green-eyed titan attack other titans.
“A titan is attacking titans.”
Connie’s mouth gaped open, a cold sweat on his forehead.
“What’s going on? It’s ignoring us.”
Jean remained tense; the black-haired, green-eyed titan had passed by them, ignoring them to attack nearby titans.
“Tang An.”
Tang An and Anka landed on the rooftop, and Connie greeted them.
“Is everyone alright?”
Tang An glanced at the group.
“No, look at that titan. It’s attacking other titans.”
Sasha found it unbelievable.
“How?”
Anka was shocked; the black-haired, green-eyed titan had taken down three titans.
“Roar…”
The titan’s fight was brutally violent. A head flew past everyone, embedding itself in a bell tower, teetering precariously. Everyone felt a chill down their spines.
Armin had recovered, staring at the black-haired, green-eyed titan in disbelief as it assumed a fighting stance.
“Armin, Connie, Jean…”
From a broken rooftop, Zhou Wei, holding Mikasa, leaped over, landing in front of the group, causing a series of gasps.
What had they just seen? Mikasa and this man had crossed seven or eight meters between rooftops easily without using maneuvering gear.
“Mikasa… you…”
“Who is he?”
Connie’s brain couldn’t keep up. First, a titan killed other titans, then it assumed a fighting stance. Now Mikasa was being held by a strange man, running and jumping effortlessly between rooftops. How could this be humanly possible?
“Hello, everyone. I’m Zhou Wei.”
Zhou Wei, with a friendly smile, introduced himself.
“Oh! Connie.”
“Jean.”
“Sasha.”
Instinctively, Connie and the others introduced themselves.
Tang An squinted slightly, realizing this guy had saved Mikasa earlier.
“Tang An.”
Tang An introduced himself as well, pretending to be a native of this world. His face remained calm and composed, showing no flaws.
What if Zhou Wei didn’t know the plot?
But Zhou Wei saving Mikasa indicated he probably did. Should Tang An attack now?
He shifted his gaze to the Attack Titan fighting the mindless titans. No, it wasn’t the right time to attack. He needed to ensure absolute success, possibly after consuming a Shifter Titan. With the Titan’s power and regenerative abilities, his chances would be higher.
Currently, Tang An wasn’t confident enough. Importantly, Zhou Wei had shown no reaction to his name, likely seeing him as just another character.
As Tang An suspected, Zhou Wei saw him as a minor character. Zhou Wei didn’t remember every detail of the plot, and with so many deaths in Attack on Titan, who knew who Tang An was? He might not last long anyway.
