Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 35
“You…”
Blood foamed from Annie’s sexy lips; she could no longer speak coherently, her injuries were too severe.
Tang An didn’t waste any words and directly injected the spinal fluid.
As golden lightning flashed, an ugly Titan, resembling Tang An, with short black hair and about seven meters tall, appeared in front of Annie.
“No… no…”
Seeing the Titan reaching for her, Annie’s eyes were filled with fear and tears.
She couldn’t understand how the man knew that injecting spinal fluid would turn someone into a Titan and that eating an intelligent Titan would grant their powers.
He hadn’t given her any chance to talk. From the moment he appeared, he had been ruthless, severely injuring her, injecting the spinal fluid to turn into a Titan, and now was about to eat her.
Who was this man? Why was he so strong? How did he know so much?
The Titan Tang An had transformed into was completely unconscious. Even with his golden finger, it was still so.
When it saw Annie in front of it, it instinctively grabbed her and shoved her into its mouth. Amidst her heart-wrenching screams, Annie was bitten and swallowed whole.
Intense heat spread around, and as steam billowed, the Titan collapsed, and Tang An emerged from its nape, his cheeks marked with a few streaks of blood. His temples, hands, and lower body were connected to the Titan’s flesh.
As his consciousness slowly cleared, Tang An looked at the Titan’s nape in front of him, knowing he had succeeded.
He severed the connection with the Titan, stood on the ground, and flexed his hands, feeling a noticeable increase in strength.
“Is this what I look like as a mindless Titan?”
Looking at the seven-meter-tall Titan with black hair and a faint resemblance to himself, Tang An thought it was truly ugly. But now, as the flesh dissolved, only the skeleton remained.
“Will I transform into the Female Titan’s form or something else now?”
Tang An rubbed his chin, uncertain.
After all, the original series didn’t mention this detail.
For instance, Eren’s father turned into the Attack Titan with a beard and a physique similar to the Beast Titan. But Eren’s Attack Titan had black hair, green eyes, no lips, and pointed ears like an elf chieftain.
“First, let’s check the lifespan.”
Putting aside these thoughts, Tang An eagerly opened the interface.
“Successfully killed secondary antagonist Annie Leonhart from Attack on Titan. Reward: 1 dice roll.”
The message appeared.
“Hmm?”
The more Tang An read, the more puzzled he became.
Secondary antagonist?
It seemed characters were categorized by importance. Major characters received three dice rolls and a luck point, while secondary ones only got one.
The gap was significant.
Tang An deduced that important characters, whether primary or secondary antagonists, were closely tied to the protagonist’s fate, based on their screen time.
The more screen time, the more important the character, and vice versa.
He flipped to the lifespan section. The previous blood-red background had turned pale red, and the countdown had changed to 13 years.
His terminal cancer hadn’t changed.
“Phew…”
Tang An exhaled in relief. Though the cancer wasn’t cured, 13 years was plenty of time to find another solution.
He now doubted whether it was even cancer. Something felt off!
Satisfied with his extended lifespan, Tang An decided to roll the dice.
The dice landed on five, and the model airplane moved five spaces.
When the blinding light disappeared, an item appeared before Tang An.
“A high-quality gas cylinder, 50kg, height 1188mm.”
“Description: A steel bottle used to store gas, with a wall thickness of about 2.5mm and an internal pressure of 0.5-1.2 MPa. Safe usage period is 15 years, with regular inspections every four years. Contains gas and is explosive if exposed to fire!”
Tang An’s face darkened. This worthless golden finger was capable of producing anything, even a gas cylinder.
What was he supposed to do with this now? Light it up?
He vaguely remembered he also had a lighter from a previous draw.
Closing the interface, Tang An prepared to test his Titan powers.
But he couldn’t stay here.
Unfortunately, transforming into a mindless Titan had destroyed his ODM gear.
With no other option, Tang An used Moonwalk to leap from tree to tree, quickly heading deeper into the forest.
He knew how to transform into a Titan—he just needed a clear goal and to bleed.
After about ten minutes, Tang An stopped, standing on a giant tree branch. He raised his right hand and slashed his thumb across his index finger. As blood flowed, golden lightning began to surround him.
Tang An’s only goal was to transform into a Titan.
With a thunderous roar, a storm swept around him, and a Female Titan descended.
“Hmm?”
His perspective shifted, and looking at his slender hands, he saw blonde hair and a curvaceous, roughly 14-meter-tall body.
He had sizable breasts, though lacking nipples, just like Annie’s Female Titan form.
Damn.
Tang An felt odd, cupping his hands over his chest. He turned to look at his butt, which was quite shapely.
There was nothing between his legs.
The first transformation into the Female Titan was smooth. His consciousness was clear, his movements coordinated, though slightly awkward, especially with the chest.
Tang An practiced some combat techniques, then did push-ups, sit-ups, and other exercises.
His body was adapting quickly.
“Strength has increased significantly.”
Tang An kicked a nearby giant tree, toppling it.
“Snap.”
Tang An tore off his left arm. Amidst the pain and steam, colorful light spread, and his arm regenerated rapidly.
“Healing injuries consumes a lot of energy.”
Watching his arm regenerate, Tang An was impressed by the healing ability.
In some ways, as long as he had enough energy and his nape wasn’t attacked, was he essentially immortal?
This regeneration and healing reminded Tang An of Marco, the Phoenix from One Piece, though the Titans’ healing was slightly less potent.
“Let’s test hardening.”
Tang An felt a power within him and tried to use it but failed.
It seemed mastering hardening would take more practice.
“Can I use Shave and Moonwalk?”
Tang An tested, finding his large Titan body less agile than his normal form. However, he was confident that with practice, he could perform as well in Titan form as in his human form.
“Let’s see if I can access items from the golden finger.”
With a thought, two Kukri knives appeared in his hands.
This meant he could access items from the golden finger regardless of form, which was good news.
“I wish the Kukri knives were longer.”
At one meter, the knives were perfect for his human form but short for his Titan form.
If they were longer, Tang An could use them as weapons, becoming unstoppable.
But having them was better than nothing.
The gas cylinder could also serve as a weapon. The one he had drawn was 1.188 meters tall, significantly larger than a household gas cylinder.
It would be quite handy for smashing things.
Tang An swung the gas cylinder, finding it quite handy indeed.
