Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 41
“Successfully killed an essential character from Attack on Titan, Mikasa Ackerman—reward: three dice rolls and +1 luck.
They successfully killed a secondary character from Attack on Titan, Levi Ackerman. Reward: one dice roll.”
Standing on a branch of a giant tree, Tang An opened the interface and frowned at the notifications.
Killing Mikasa earned him three rolls and a luck increase, while killing Levi only earned him one. It puzzled Tang An how this system classified major and minor characters. Levi, with his significant role, being a secondary character?
“Whatever, I’ve been dissatisfied with this system for a long time,” Tang An muttered, deciding to roll the dice without using his luck bonus.
The dice rolled, and the model airplane moved three spaces, ending with a bright flash.
“Golden Armor Effect.”
“Description: A full set of golden armor that enhances the wearer’s majestic, domineering, and heroic aura. Note: This is a visual effect only, with no physical defensive properties. Can be equipped or removed instantly.”
Tang An’s blood pumped with excitement at the sight of the golden armor in the display. Like sports cars and beautiful women, Armor had an intrinsic allure for men.
“Equip,” he commanded.
Golden light enveloped him as the armor assembled around his body, piece by piece. The sound of the armor clinking into place stirred his excitement even more. After donning it, he looked around, admiring the fit, though he had no mirror to see himself fully.
The armor felt weightless and intangible—a mere visual effect with no physical presence. Still, the clinking sounds and enhanced aura made him feel powerful.
“All show and no substance,” Tang An thought, somewhat satisfied. If only the armor had fundamental defensive properties.
“Let’s roll again,” he decided, tossing the dice a second time without using luck. The model airplane moved five spaces, and another item appeared.
“Portable Smart Speaker.”
“Description: An implantable device that functions as a speaker, capable of amplifying any sound and transmitting it flawlessly.”
“Useless,” Tang An frowned. A speaker with no accompanying music didn’t serve much purpose. Its only benefit seemed to be amplifying his voice.
“Two more rolls,” he said, rolling the dice again. This time, he used his luck bonus. The model airplane moved two spaces, and the screen displayed:
“War BGM: ‘Victory.'”
“Description: This track enhances the user’s aura and spirit, evoking grand war scenes and filling listeners with a desire to charge into battle. During the 5 minutes and 20 seconds it plays, the user’s strength is doubled. Cooldown: 10 days.”
Tang An was momentarily silent; then his expression turned peculiar. He recognized the piece “Victory,” a stirring orchestral work he had heard in his previous life. Its rousing and grandiose music indeed had the power to inspire.
The most important part, though, was the combat enhancement it provided. Doubling his strength for over five minutes could turn the tide in crucial moments.
The next roll was disappointing. The dice moved six spaces, but the reward was:
“Constipation for 30 days.”
“Description: For thirty days, you will experience difficulty with bowel movements. Symptoms include hard, dry stools and infrequent bowel movements. Cannot be cured.”
Tang An’s face twisted in annoyance.
“Goddamn system,” he cursed, closing the interface in frustration.
Meanwhile, the Armored Titan carried Bertholdt, Eren, and himself across the plains, pursued by Armin, Zhou Wei, and others. Armin couldn’t stop thinking about the Female Titan they had just faced. He was sure it wasn’t Annie. His anxiety for Levi and Mikasa grew, especially with the mysterious weapon the Female Titan wielded.
On Reiner’s shoulder, Bertholdt watched the approaching soldiers warily.
“They’re keeping their distance, almost as if waiting for something,” Bertholdt remarked, suspicious of their tactics.
“You won’t escape,” Eren snarled, still regenerating his hand and burning with hatred.
Suddenly, the ground shook with the approach of numerous mindless Titans led by Erwin and the Survey Corps.
“Damn it,” Bertholdt cursed, seeing they were being flanked.
Reiner tightened his grip, protecting Bertholdt, Eren, and his nape. They couldn’t afford to stop, knowing they would be overwhelmed by the Titans and the Survey Corps if they did.
“Full assault!” Erwin shouted, leading the charge straight at the Armored Titan. Behind him, mindless Titans followed, and the battlefield erupted in chaos.
In this collision, the Armored Titan plowed through the Titans like a train, sending them flying or smashing them apart.
As chaos reigned, Tang An watched from the trees, wearing his golden armor and waiting for the right moment to strike. He gripped his kukri knives, ready to unleash his power, which was enhanced by the war BGM if necessary.
