Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 47
At this moment, I was standing beside a man with short blond hair, a beard, and glasses, both of us looking towards the direction of Wall Rose.
This man was Zeke Yeager, the current holder of the Beast Titan. He also held another identity, that of Eren’s half-brother.
“This is really strange!”
Zeke, shirtless and displaying his impressively toned eight-pack abs, wore military trousers with a belt and combat boots. He adjusted his glasses with his left hand while looking towards Wall Rose, his brow slightly furrowed and his expression showing impatience.
According to the timeline, Reiner and Bertholdt should have contacted him by now. But it had been so long, and there was no news.
“Could something have happened?”
Pieck emerged from the nape of the Cart Titan, her black hair swaying gently in the breeze, her mysterious and captivating aura shining through.
“It seems so.”
Zeke rubbed his forehead, somewhat calm. “Annie is missing, Reiner and Bertholdt, Marcel has been eaten, and the Jaw Titan’s power has been taken. It seems we’ve underestimated the humans inside the walls.”
“Our primary goal now is to find Reiner and Bertholdt. We’ve already lost the Jaw Titan; we can’t afford to lose the Armored Titan, Colossal Titan, or Female Titan as well,” Pieck said as she climbed back into the nape of the Cart Titan.
“Hey! What are you looking for?”
Without warning, a voice appeared from the left. Zeke and Pieck were startled, quickly turning to the source of the voice, their pupils dilating in shock.
“When did this person appear?”
Zeke took a few steps back, his muscles tensing, ready to transform at any moment. The weapons on the Cart Titan’s back were also aimed at Tang An.
Tang An, wearing yellow flip-flops, green beach shorts, and a white T-shirt, looked like he was dressed for a day at the beach. Tang An was here because he had frequently stood on the walls, looking towards Wall Rose over the past month.
According to the original story, Eren and his group would soon seal the gate at the foot of the wall and reclaim Wall Maria. So, Tang An had been patrolling the area from time to time. He recently saw Zeke and Pieck climbing the wall in broad daylight.
“Who are you?”
Neither Zeke nor Pieck could remain calm because this person had appeared too mysteriously. Their instincts screamed danger.
“Stop.”
Tang An had only taken two steps when Zeke slashed his arm.
“No need to be so nervous. You must be the current Beast Titan, right? And you must be the Cart Titan. You seem to be a very beautiful woman; I just saw you,” Tang An said, his hands in his pockets, smiling harmlessly.
“Pieck, kill him.”
Zeke’s face darkened; he had no intention of getting acquainted with Tang An.
“Bang!”
As soon as Zeke spoke, Pieck fired.
“Swish… swish…”
In the blink of an eye, Tang An flashed three times, crossing the 18-meter distance and appearing in front of the Cart Titan. Zeke and Pieck’s hair stood on end. How had this man appeared? He had crossed over ten meters in just the blink of an eye.
What a joke.
“Splatter…”
Hot blood splashed. Tang An used another flash step, appearing at the nape of the Cart Titan. Two kukri knives gleamed brilliantly in his hands, and with a swift slash, a massive chunk of flesh flew into the air, exposing Pieck.
“Boom…”
Golden lightning descended from the sky as Zeke transformed into the Beast Titan. His body, covered in fur, roared like an enraged ape.
“Ah…”
Pieck didn’t even have time to react, only feeling intense pain in her waist before being yanked out of the Cart Titan’s nape by her lengthy hair, her intestines and organs spilling out.
Flying in the air, Tang An, holding Pieck by her long hair with one hand, looked down at the roaring Beast Titan on the wall, still wearing that harmless expression.
“What a pity, such a beautiful woman,” Tang An murmured, lifting Pieck’s face closer.
After all, this woman was indeed remarkable. If possible, he wouldn’t mind spending a night with her.
“You…”
Pieck could no longer speak, her eyes filled with fear and horror, blood continuously dripping from her mouth and nose. Her body below the waist had been severed.
Even so, she wasn’t dead yet. Instead, steam continuously emanated from her body, indicating her regeneration. Given time, she could completely regenerate her lower body.
But she didn’t have that chance now.
“Snap…”
Tang An snapped his fingers, his thumb slicing open his index finger, blood oozing out. As golden lightning connected the heavens and the earth, his body quickly grew flesh, transforming into the Armored Titan.
“Impossible.”
The Beast Titan, shielding his face from the storm, looked at the descending Armored Titan with disbelief and anger. The Armored Titan wasn’t Reiner; this unknown guy had taken it.
“Save me.”
Pieck’s face was filled with terror as the Armored Titan tossed her into its mouth.
“Roar…”
The Beast Titan roared his arms, longer than his legs, hardening and shooting toward Tang An like cannonballs. He had to save Pieck.
Tang An didn’t dodge, hardening his right hand and throwing a punch.
In an instant, a terrifying storm spread from their clash, causing the wall beneath them to crack, stones and concrete flying in all directions.
Tang An took one step back while the Beast Titan took five steps back, nearly falling off the wall.
“How is this possible?”
Looking at his right hand, steaming and cracking, the Beast Titan’s eyes were filled with anger and fear. He had been forced back in their clash.
“Ah…”
Pieck’s final scream echoed, her face covered in tears and blood. She looked at the Beast Titan and cried out.
With a crisp crunch, the scream abruptly stopped.
“Pieck.”
The Beast Titan roared, looking at Tang An with nothing but brutality in his eyes. But to everyone’s surprise, the Beast Titan jumped off the wall, using his hardened hands to cling to the wall as he descended like a giant ape.
He was escaping.
“Trying to run?”
Tang An wouldn’t let him escape, jumping off the wall and hardening his hands to grab the wall as he descended. With the ground erupting in the dust as he landed, Tang An bent his upper body to absorb the impact, then immediately chased after the Beast Titan, who had already put 20 meters between them.
Standing at about 17 meters tall, the Beast Titan was now being chased by the 15-meter-tall Armored Titan, a sight that seemed oddly reversed.
“Damn it.”
The Beast Titan glanced back, seeing that Tang An’s speed was even faster than he had imagined, faster than when Reiner had inherited the Armored Titan.
Hardening his right hand, the Beast Titan grabbed some dirt and rocks, turning and hurling them to block Tang An.
“Hardening.”
Facing the incoming barrage of rocks, Tang An’s entire body began to harden, turning into the Crystal Armored Titan.
Under the light, he refracted dazzling rays.
“How is this possible? His entire body is hardened.”
The Beast Titan’s scalp went numb, his eyes filled with terror.
Escape.
He had to escape.
He had never achieved complete body hardening, but this person could.
“Rumble…”
Tang An, unstoppable, charged forward like a speeding truck, causing the ground to tremble with his every step. His entire body exuded violent beauty.
Some flying rocks were shattered with a punch, only causing him to pause briefly before he continued his charge toward the Beast Titan.
