Reincarnated in One Piece - Chapter 55
“Damn it.”
Everyone was terrified, watching the colossal Titan’s body plummeting like a meteor, faces filled with despair.
The atmosphere tore apart, the fire illuminating the entire sky.
With a ground-shaking roar, the entire earth shattered. The colossal Titan’s body fragmented into enormous pieces, bombarding the ground like a meteor shower.
The intense heat and steam swept through violently, lifting and cracking the ground and creating a continuous sea of fire.
But the most horrifying thing happened again.
Golden lightning connected heaven and earth as a third colossal Titan’s body plummeted.
The entire terrain cracked and rose, forming barren mountains and valleys, completely altering the landscape.
Tang An descended to ten meters above the ground, his face flushed, breathing heavily!
Transforming into the colossal Titan three times a row, even without moving, consumed enormous physical strength.
“Are they all dead?”
Gripping his kukri knives, Tang An scanned the area, his body tense and alert.
“Whoosh!”
As Tang An inspected a protruding pile of rubble, a purple figure suddenly leaped up. With a startling dragon’s roar, six majestic dragons surrounded Zhou Wei, roaring towards Tang An’s chest.
“Dragon Fights in the Wild.”
“Damn it!”
Tang An’s hair stood on end, raising his arms in defense. The next moment, his chest caved in, blood spurting from his mouth as he was blasted away, his internal organs shifting and shattering.
Behind him, Zhou Wei turned into a stream of purple light. His Nine Yang True Qi ran at high speed, accompanied by the overwhelming dragon’s roar, seemingly transforming him into a dragon.
“Flying Dragon in the Sky.”
“Whoosh!”
Tang An forced his body to twist, using Shave to dodge narrowly. The hill behind him exploded and disappeared.
Tang An continuously used Shave to teleport away without hesitation, seemingly attempting to escape again.
“Still trying to run? Soaring Dragon.”
Zhou Wei, filled with killing intent, instantly caught up with Tang An, the golden dragon surrounding him fiercely striking Tang An.
“Boom…”
Tang An couldn’t dodge, kicking out with Shave, causing an explosive clash with Zhou Wei’s right palm. The stalemate lasted only a moment before Tang An’s right leg burst with blood, breaking muscles and bones.
Steam rose rapidly.
Losing his right leg, Tang An’s Moonwalk failed. He hadn’t yet mastered moving through the air with one leg.
He could still use Shave with his left leg, though.
“Crack…”
As Tang An’s right leg broke, golden lightning descended. With a roar, Tang An transformed into the Female Titan.
The powerful transformation shockwave sent Zhou Wei flying, landing in a sea of fire, his face turning a ghastly purple. He was reaching his limit.
Using Blood Burst Pills twice in a row was inhuman.
And the three colossal Titan impacts earlier had worsened his injuries.
“Zhou Wei, you’re ruthless.”
Leaving those words, Tang An decisively retreated.
Tang An transformed into the Female Titan because of her superior mobility. The ground shook as Tang An dashed away faster than a warhorse.
“Damn it, chase him.”
In the rubble, Connie and the others were bleeding from head wounds. Even with Eren’s hardening protection, they were severely injured.
“How do we chase him!”
Watching the Female Titan quickly disappear, they had no way to follow.
All their horses were dead, and the terrain wasn’t suitable for ODM gear. Most importantly, they were all seriously injured.
Eren had exhausted his energy, maintaining hardening to withstand the three colossal impacts of Titan. Without his desperate protection, they would all be dead.
“This commotion should have alerted other corps. They might be on their way.”
“The best option now is to stay put.”
Armin, coughing blood, dared not look at the ruins behind them.
All the Survey Corps members were dead; only they survived.
“Bang!”
Nearby, Zhou Wei collapsed, blood staining the ground as he breathed weakly. His body was numb and immobile, unable even to move a finger.
He had completely lost his ability to act.
All his trump cards were gone.
Every exchange point had been spent on Blood Burst Pills.
“Zhou Wei.”
Armin struggled to stand and approached Zhou Wei. He saw his body covered in cracks, and his eyes were filled with worry.
They had survived, thanks to Zhou Wei. Without him, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
“Clip-clop…”
Distant hoofbeats approached as many Military Police and Garrison soldiers arrived. Seeing the ruined site and the heavily injured Eren and others, their faces were filled with dread.
Especially those three colossal Titan skeletons. Their flesh had now melted away, and the residual heat was palpable.
“Erwin, was it that guy?”
Pixis, with a grim face, approached Erwin, sitting alone on a rock.
“This time, I felt powerless.”
Erwin held his head, his body covered in blood and dirt.
He had lost confidence.
The enemy was too strong, possessing flight and seemingly six Titan powers.
He saw no hope.
“Even your fighting spirit is…”
Pixis looked into the distance, taking a swig from a flask at his waist.
Meanwhile, Tang An stood on a branch in another forest, looking at the horizon. He hadn’t indeed left.
He had de-transformed mid-way and was now rapidly recovering his stamina.
Once his stamina was restored, he’d launch a third attack.
He didn’t believe Zhou Wei was unscathed. Their earlier clash revealed Zhou Wei’s abnormal state as if he was forcibly enhancing his strength.
To be safe, Tang An planned to outlast him.
He had plenty of time.
Although this method was shameless, Tang An would do anything to be the victor.
Leaning against the tree, Tang An closed his eyes to rest.
He could have used a Senzu Bean to recover quickly, but it seemed too wasteful. Senzu Beans were like a second life, reserved for emergencies.
He preferred to wear down his opponent rather than waste a Senzu Bean.
Steam rose as his wounds healed rapidly.
An hour passed, then three hours… dawn was near.
“Whoosh…”
Restored to peak condition, Tang An estimated he had rested for about four hours.
Stretching, Tang An disappeared from the tree. Soon, smoke rose from the forest as Tang An roasted a deer.
“Time to go.”
Half an hour later, Tang An discarded the bones, lit a cigarette, and exhaled smoke.
The sky was brightening, and the temperature was slightly cool.
Another half-hour later.
“Did they move their base?”
Seeing the messy ruins, Tang An followed the tracks of hooves and wheels.
“Need a ride.”
Tang An looked at the horizon, unwilling to chase on foot.
Unfortunately, no ODM gear or horses were left behind.
Tang An ran along the tracks for twenty minutes, treating it as training.
When he saw a forest, he dashed in. Ten minutes later, a bruised and battered wild boar ran out, Tang An standing on it, his flip-flops fluttering along with his white shirt and green shorts.
Riding the pig to chase, Second Brother was still reliable!
