As Tang An and Wang Xu moved away, Mitsuri and Shinobu each launched attacks on the clones.
At first, they felt these two clones were as strong as the original, but as Wang Xu and Tang An got farther away, it was clear the clones were getting weaker.
Mitsuri twirled, her whip-like Nichirin Blade forming a tornado around the clone, shredding it. Meanwhile, Shinobu used Insect Breathing, and Kanao used Flower Breathing. The three of them had the upper hand against the two clones.
Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Inosuke watched on the sidelines, barely clinging to life.
Meanwhile, on the western side of Spider Mountain, Zenitsu was fighting Spider Brother, who was already infected with spider venom and on the verge of becoming a spider himself. Wang Xu looked down at Tang An, his hands occasionally twitching and manipulating threads.
Both Spider Brother and Zenitsu cowered, fearing they would be noticed, both feeling the oppressive aura.
In a flash of golden lightning, Tang An shot up, and Wang Xu descended from the sky.
The ground within a ten-meter radius formed a web of cracks. Buried in the soil, Tang An disappeared in a flash of lightning. Ten meters away, Wang Xu appeared without warning. The kukri and threads clashed, and both spat blood.
Wang Xu’s right foot, laced with threads, hooked down. Tang An only had time to block with the kukri.

When the dust settled, Tang An was revealed.
His back bore five deep, bone-revealing wounds, and his left arm was severed at the shoulder. His body emitted high-temperature steam, and colourful five-coloured lines glowed around his bleeding wounds, showcasing the regenerative power of his Titan form.
Opposite him, Wang Xu’s pierced chest and jaw were rapidly healing, much faster than Tang An’s.
Tang An’s face was cold, but inside, he was heavy-hearted. Wang Xu was nearly as strong as Muzan Kibutsuji.
But the War BGM was still on cooldown, and Tang An wasn’t confident he could kill or capture Wang Xu.
The Nichirin Blade was useless against him unless it was upgraded to a red blade. But Tang An hadn’t mastered upgrading it, and the temperature increase was negligible, making it ineffective.
The inability to kill was the biggest problem.
Tang An became increasingly sure Wang Xu was from his world.
There was only one solution: drag it out until sunrise.

Wang Xu stood on the ground, not attacking.
