Summoner of the Fairy Tail - Chapter 262
As Calvin and Mavis were about to finish their conversation, they heard Mira’s voice calling from afar.
“Calvin!”
Mira was running towards him, looking both anxious and excited. Calvin hurried to meet her, slightly scolding, “Be careful not to fall. Why are you in such a rush? You should walk more slowly.”
“I was just eager to find you! We’re going to Tequila Park nearby. You should come too,” Mira said, catching her breath with a smile.
“Tequila Park? I’ve heard it’s a fun water park. Is everyone going? First Master, would you like to join us?” Calvin asked, turning to Mavis.
Mavis had been secretly watching Calvin and Mira with a teasing look in her eyes, full of gossip. When she heard Calvin’s question, she quickly pretended to be innocent and exclaimed, “Can I go too?”
“Of course! Besides, others can’t see the First Master, and you don’t have to pay for the ticket,” Mira laughed.
“I want to go! Calvin, take me there!” Mavis cried out, excited.
Calvin suddenly felt like he had another daughter, one much older than himself.
“Let’s go. The others are already there. We’re the last ones,” Mira said, linking her arm with Calvin’s and walking with him, while Mavis skipped along, humming a tune.
From a distance, if one could see Mavis, they would find the scene very heartwarming.
Tequila Park was one of the few summer entertainment facilities in the entire Fiore Kingdom. When Calvin and Mira entered in their swimsuits, they found everyone already having a great time.
Calvin was curious why everyone had brought swimsuits, while Cana, who usually dressed like she was always ready for a swim, was wearing ladylike underwear instead. Even Laxus, who had no sense of fun, had brought swim trunks. It was surprising that Cana, the fun-loving one, hadn’t.
Of course, Calvin himself had various clothes stored in his belt.
Seeing Laxus and Makarov lounging around, Calvin decided to leave Mavis with them and go off with Mira for a romantic swim.
But just as they reached the pool, they saw Natsu sitting on a small water train, seemingly ready to spit “glittering” stuff into the pool. Within a split second, Calvin decided not to step into that pool.
Then he thought about trying the grandest water slide, called “Heart-to-Heart,” which had a romantic vibe. However, just as he was about to step forward, he saw Juvia, Gray, and Lyon entangled in a love triangle. His instincts told him to stay away.
“Let’s just relax on those lounge chairs over there,” Calvin suggested with a smile.
Mira looked towards the lounge chairs and immediately frowned. “Are you sure?”
Calvin turned to see the three handsome men from Blue Pegasus and a self-proclaimed “super handsome guy” pestering Erza and Lucy. He couldn’t help but twitch his mouth.
“Did you plan this? How are they here too? And why is Ichiya bothering Erza? Isn’t he afraid Jellal will give him a seven-star sword strike?” Calvin remarked.
Not only were Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale present, but even the guys from Quatro Cerberus were enjoying themselves at Tequila Park. It was surprising how these manly men had such childlike hearts.
Wendy and Sherria from Lamia Scale, who used Sky God Slayer magic, were having fun, making the men around them feel like they were in paradise.
Kagura from Mermaid Heel appeared briefly to talk to Lucy before leaving again, leaving Lucy looking oddly relieved.
Makarov and Laxus were watching Mavis play happily alone; the Blue Pegasus guys were energetically bothering every girl; Ichiya and Natsu seemed to get along well, chatting and eating together.
Gajeel and Levy, along with the three cats, were playing with children’s attractions, looking quite compatible. Elfman and Evergreen were secretly soaking in the water, exchanging glances but quickly separating. Calvin thought it best not to let Mira see this scene.
Even Mira was taken away by Jenny from Blue Pegasus, who was also a cover girl, for a chat.
Calvin felt a bit lonely all of a sudden.
“Handsome guy, isn’t it too lonely to be alone? We’re at a water park. Can’t you have some fun?” a familiar voice came from behind Calvin as he sighed.
He turned to see Cana, wearing underwear that gave her a different kind of charm. However, her slightly flushed cheeks and the bottle in her hand spoiled her rare elegance.
“I don’t get it. Why are you drinking everywhere you go?” Calvin said, sweating.
“You don’t understand. The pool is the best place to drink!” Cana replied disdainfully.
“I don’t get it. To you, everywhere is the best place to drink,” Calvin thought to himself. He didn’t say it out loud, knowing Cana would drag him to drink with her, claiming to teach him the true meaning of alcohol.
Then Calvin would undoubtedly get drunk.
Although Calvin was the one who introduced Cana to the world of fine wines, now that he was with Mira, he kept a bit of distance from other beautiful women. More importantly, seeing Cana in her underwear reminded him of the photos Calvin Lucifer had taken, many of which were of her in sexy lingerie.
Of course, he also couldn’t look at Lucy directly. Edolas’s Lucy had been quite bold, willing to try anything.
“Take it easy. I feel you’ve been more repressed since you returned,” Cana patted Calvin’s shoulder before turning around to find someone else to drink with.
“Relax, huh? Perfect, I see Bacchus too. It’s time for him to honor his bet with Erza,” Calvin smirked and headed towards Bacchus.
Usually, when Fairy Tail members encountered a new environment, it never ended well. By the time Calvin had dealt with Bacchus and returned, the pool was frozen. Natsu, with a flaming fist, was about to punch the ice.
The cause of the chaos was unknown, but the place was a mess. Natsu, the obvious culprit, was harshly dealt with by Calvin and Laxus. Regardless, the repair bill was charged to Fairy Tail.
Being the only guild master present, it fell to Calvin.
Fairy Tail was already heavily in debt, and this added cost made Calvin wonder how much prize money they’d have left after winning.
It goes without saying how badly Natsu was punished by Laxus and Calvin.
Gray and Lyon were no exceptions. Only those two could have frozen the pool. The two brothers were found hugging each other, encased in ice, making them easy to deal with.
Calvin regretted it, wishing he had made Bacchus take the blame. But it was too late; he had already sent Bacchus, knocked out by a summoning beast, to a bar full of various men.
Tomorrow, Bacchus would undoubtedly regret everything.
Though it was a pleasant evening, a few had an unpleasant time. A new day dawned.
On the fourth day of the Grand Magic Games, the competition was a naval battle.
The most suitable for this were Lucy, with her Aquarius Celestial Spirit, and Juvia, whose body was made of water.
The two women represented Fairy Tail’s A and B teams, entering the arena full of confidence.
