The Pirate: Dark Admiral - Chapter 2
Rougishu Hyuga’s pupils contracted sharply. Although bounties do not fully equate to strength, they are often the best measure.
In the early days of the Great Pirate Era, a bounty of 37 million Belly was quite shocking in the initial seas of the Grand Line.
Although he had previously killed some invading pirates, the highest bounty among them was only 23 million Belly, a far cry from 37 million.
Moreover, Giant Rhino Alex was notorious in these waters, having evaded the Navy multiple times and retaliated by massacring towns. They were caught in the crossfire this time.
“Brother Rougishu, what… what should we do now?” Fizz asked, panic-stricken as Rougishu appeared lost in thought.
“Of course… we kill them!”
“Huh?”
Fizz’s eyes widened in disbelief. Although Brother Rougishu was strong and had killed many pirates, this enemy was on a completely different level.
While Fizz was still in shock, Rougishu had already moved far ahead. In a flash, his figure disappeared utterly. “Brother Rougishu, wait for me!”
“Looks like I’ll need to reveal some methods to kill the enemy this time. But that’s fine, I’ve absorbed enough life force from Sea Kings. It’s time to taste the power of a strong soul!” Rougishu’s calm eyes flashed with a hint of violent killing intent. His body trembled slightly, a sign of his boiling blood.
…
The slaughter continued!
Blood stained the ground, and corpses lay everywhere as if the gates of hell had opened.
“Lord Alex, we can give you all our wealth. Just spare us!” The elder prostrated himself on the ground, begging for mercy.
“Mayor, let’s fight them!” came an angry shout from the crowd behind the elder.
“Shut up!” The old mayor scolded them before continuing to beg, “Lord Alex, take all the town’s wealth. I swear on my ancestors’ name that we won’t inform the Navy of your whereabouts. Please, spare us!”
“Hahahaha! Spare you? Who will spread the word of my brutality and strength then? I’ve already told the seas: for every Navy bounty on me, I’ll massacre a town. Old man, blame the stupid Navy!” The obese, one-eyed pirate, Alex, laughed grotesquely.
“Now, all of you…” Alex raised his spiked club high, ready to crush the elder.
Boom!
As the townspeople prepared for a desperate fight, a shadow fell from the sky. Alex’s massive body was suddenly sent flying tens of meters away by a deadly blow from Rougishu, who leaped from a rooftop.
“This… Rougishu… he actually knocked Giant Rhino Alex away!” A townsman murmured in disbelief.
“Great, with Brother Rougishu here, the Giant Rhino Pirates won’t be arrogant for long!” The “young soldiers” had unconditional trust in Rougishu.
“Are you kidding? An eleven or twelve-year-old kid defeated our captain!” a pirate exclaimed.
The nearby pirates recoiled in horror from the speaker as if avoiding a deadly plague.
The pirate who had spoken woke up in terror, cold sweat pouring down his back. Trembling, he looked at the still-settling dust, stammering, “Cap… Captain, I didn’t mean it…”
Boom!
A spiked club spun out of the dust at high speed, smashing the pirate’s head into a pulp. A headless corpse fell with a thud. Alex, his eyes filled with murderous intent, emerged, blood flowing from his forehead, looking like a demon from a sea of blood.
Everyone trembled, eyes lowered, not daring to breathe, as if an invisible boulder pressed down on their hearts.
“You bastard, how dare you hit me! Do you know, no one has ever dared hit my head!” Alex snarled, approaching step by step, exuding immense pressure.
“Now someone has.” Rougishu smiled gently, pondering. Rumor had it that Alex was a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user. It seemed accurate; otherwise, his punch, which could kill a Sea King, wouldn’t have been recovered from so quickly.
Rougishu’s response made Alex pause, and then his fury surged, words forgotten. With a mighty push off the ground, he charged at Rougishu with incredible speed.
In an instant, he crossed the distance of a few meters. Seeing Rougishu seemingly frozen in fear, Alex felt a rush of satisfaction and added more force to his punch.
As Alex’s massive fist neared, the wind brushing his hair, Rougishu moved!
Tilting his head slightly to the left, the first grazed past. Rougishu slammed his right shoulder forward; a crack echoed as Alex’s bones broke. Before Alex could scream, Rougishu’s right leg shot up, a powerful knee strike to Alex’s abdomen.
The townspeople and pirates watched as Giant Rhino Alex’s face twisted in agony, eyes bulging like a dead fish, pain surpassing his limits.
It wasn’t over. Rougishu grabbed Alex’s shoulder and executed a shoulder throw, slamming him to the ground. Despite their size difference, it looked like an ant throwing an elephant, yet no one could laugh. The intense scene left them speechless.
Except for the “young soldiers” who always followed Rougishu, no one expected the notorious Giant Rhino Alex to be utterly defeated by a boy.
Reality often outstrips imagination.
Heavy breathing echoed. Rougishu remained expressionless but retreated quickly.
A five-meter-tall giant rhino charged out of the dust, its horn gleaming menacingly, sharper than any renowned sword.
He might have been torn apart if Rougishu had not anticipated the danger and dodged in advance.
“This… this is a monster!” The townspeople’s joy at Alex’s transformation turned to terror.
“Idiots, this is the captain’s true strength, the power that lets the Giant Rhino Pirates dominate the seas!” The pirates, nearly losing their nerve, resumed their taunts.
“This guy is way smaller than a Sea King. He’s no match for Brother Rougishu!” The “young soldiers” remained confident in Rougishu.
“Bastard, I really underestimated you. But you’ll soon see the true power of a demon!” Alex pawed the ground, panting heavily.
“Don’t boast easily. It only shows your weakness!” Even facing a brutal enemy like Alex, Rougishu wore a gentle smile. After all, he was always more forgiving towards the dead.
