Unscientific Scientist From Sunagakure - Chapter 164
In his beastly form, Naruto wouldn’t let go of the one who dared to mock him.
He roared as he pursued Yoruga across the desert, with Yoruga dangling above him, careful not to fly too high or too far for fear Naruto might turn back toward the spectator stands. It was a perilously risky affair.
Using the Imperial Tool, “Thousand-Mile Flight: Mastema” was not without cost. The tool continually drained the user’s physical and mental energy during operation. Yoruga had trained to maintain it for a maximum of fifteen minutes, beyond which the tool would start consuming his life force. Even the skills it enabled, like the recent “Feather Array Kill,” had a significant cost, draining two minutes of potential use time.
Noticing that Naruto’s pace slowed, Yoruga dropped the two loudspeakers toward him.
“Keep up with me, monster!”
At this moment, Naruto’s face was shrouded in darkness, his hands and feet on the ground, enveloped by a dark red chakra cloak with four tails flaring.
He was indeed monstrous.
Naruto swatted them away effortlessly as the loudspeakers fell, enraged by Yoruga’s taunting behavior.
Squeak.
Another Tailed Beast Bomb began to form. Naruto didn’t fire it hastily this time but built up power before launching it. The Tailed Beast Bomb shot forward at several times the speed of the previous one.
Yoruga was shocked by its velocity, which was too fast to evade.
Secret Technique: “Divine Feathers.”
The white wings on his back emitted a holy light as the four wings extended in front of Yoruga.
The Tailed Beast Bomb struck the sacred light of the wings.
Crack.
Crack.
The massive energy of the Tailed Beast Bomb caused the Divine Feathers to crackle and break, with feathers falling like snowflakes. Even the Divine Feathers struggled to withstand the force of the Nine Tails’ Tailed Beast Bomb.
Nagato crossed Yoruga’s face, feeling as if he’d been hit by a vehicle, the immense pressure causing him agony. Yet, he couldn’t easily give up, his face etched with determination, his eyes ablaze with fire.
“Thousand-Mile Flight Mastema, take my life.”
He fiercely burned his life force, and under the bolstering of his will, the Divine Feathers burst into brilliant white light, shining like stars in the night sky, illuminating the desert.
Far away, Kazekage caught sight of the holy light.
“There it is.”
He vanished in a flash, appearing as lightning.
Yoruga spread his arms wide, the four wings unfurled, stirring up a great wind; the surging holy light repelled the Tailed Beast Bomb back towards Naruto.
Naruto quickly dodged aside as the Tailed Beast Bomb crashed into the desert.
Boom.
A loud explosion shook the earth, and a plume of sand flew into the air.
Unable to sustain the Imperial Tool any longer after burning his life force for the Divine Feathers, Yoruga’s wings vanished.
“Is this where my fortune ends?”
He looked towards the distant spectator stands, a faint smile on his lips.
Then, like a kite whose string had been cut, he fell toward the ground.
Naruto climbed out of the crater, seeing the falling Yoruga, his face lit with a wild grin.
I was waiting for him to land.
To tear him apart.
Just then, a streak of lightning cut across the sky.
A hand caught the unconscious Yoruga.
The newcomer was Kazekage.
News of a Tailed Beast’s rampage at the racetrack had quickly reached Kazekage. Regardless of the circumstances, a Tailed Beast’s rampage near villagers was not a matter to be taken lightly.
Kazekage casually slapped a mechanical dragonfly.
He handed it to Kurotsuchi.
“This might seem a bit juvenile for kids, just right for adults.”
“Put it on your head, and you can fly,”
“I need to go and save people,” he said, then vanished from the lab, leaving a bewildered Kurotsuchi holding the toy-like dragonfly, unsure how to wear or fly with it.
Kazekage had already left the control building, flying towards the racetrack. En route, he saw the explosion of Divine Feathers and managed to save the unconscious Yoruga just in time.
“Yoruga, well done,”
“Now leave it to me.”
“Take a rest.”
Kazekage pushed Yoruga, who drifted towards the village under the influence of magnetism.
Naruto, furious at his prey being snatched away, shrieked at Kazekage.
Kazekage looked towards Naruto, who was in a half-Tailed Beast state, his features darkened.
“Oh, still can’t control the Tailed Beast?”
“That won’t do, Naruto.”
“Then let Teacher Kazekage teach you a lesson today.”
Naruto roared.
Kazekage clapped his hands.
“Loudly,”
“Electromagnetic Release: Four Pillar Electric Gate.”
Boom.
Four twenty-meter-tall, thick pillars slammed down.
Zzzzzt.
An electric net sprung up, sealing both Kazekage and Naruto within.
Naruto sensed the danger and extended a chakra-infused claw towards Kazekage.
The giant claw passed through Kazekage, grabbing nothing.
Kazekage had already flashed elsewhere.
“Come on.”
“Continue.”
Kazekage taunted Naruto, beckoning him with a flick of his finger,
Enraged, Naruto swung another claw.
Kazekage vanished again.
His figure appeared elsewhere.
After being toyed with by Kazekage dozens of times, Naruto could no longer bear it.
He raised his neck.
I let out a roar.
Kazekage smiled faintly.
“Can’t take it anymore?”
“Here comes the big one.”
Kazekage summoned three hundred natural eyes.
Casually twisting,
A tall,
Dark,
Thick,
Mace appeared in his hand.
