Unscientific Scientist From Sunagakure - Chapter 185
Orochimaru was a ninja who had completed 108 S-rank missions.
His combat experience was vibrant.
Plus, he had a brilliant scientific mind.
He had already figured out what was going on with the giant.
This giant was Jugo.
When in places dense with natural energy, Jugo automatically absorbs the energy around him. His body changes and his functions are significantly enhanced, but his personality becomes violent.
He somehow absorbed the energy of the Dragon Vein.
The powerful Dragon Vein energy had transformed him into this mountain-like giant.
The rampage must have completely consumed his intellect.
His lower half, the dragon’s body, was continuously connected to an underground deep hole.
That must be the Dragon Vein.
From the corrosive nature of the Dragon Vein energy, it seemed the Dragon Vein had been polluted.
It needs to be clarified how it got polluted.
Manda: “If there’s a way, why haven’t you killed him yet?”
Manda was annoyed.
Orochimaru: “To kill him is simple; just blow up the entire Dragon Vein. Without the Dragon Vein, Jugo won’t have his regenerative abilities and will be easily dealt with.”
Orochimaru’s solution was indeed ruthless.
Manda didn’t see anything wrong with it.
“Then let’s do it.”
“I’ll keep him busy.”
“You go blow up the Dragon Vein below.”
At this moment,
Muzake’s voice echoed.
“That bastard wants to blow up my Dragon Vein!”
Orochimaru and Manda turned around.
Muzak flew to the snake’s head with the excellent Kabuto and Kimimaro.
Orochimaru was very surprised.
“Master, you saved them?”
Muzake: “I just activated their potential.”
The unknown virus within the Arrow of Substitution had stimulated Kabuto and Kimimaro, triggering their survival instincts and latent abilities.
Miraculously, their bodies were reborn.
Adding a resurrection effect to the Stand activation was doable, too.
(If the T-virus can have such abilities, why can’t my unknown virus have it.)
(o(?_?)o Haha~)
They had also each gained Stand abilities.
Orochimaru grinned.
“That’s wonderful.”
Their survival saved him the trouble of cloning them.
Muzake asked Kabuto and Kimimaro,
“Tell me, what happened?”
Kabuto replied,
“We were guiding the Dragon Vein energy into the pipeline while constructing the energy station.”
Building an energy station on top of the Dragon Vein seal in the ruins of Roran was also part of the plan.
“Just as we extracted the surface energy, a surge of purplish-blue energy suddenly erupted from below.”
“It exploded, and the powerful aftermath swept Jugo in from a hundred meters away.”
“Jugo began absorbing the energy and went berserk.”
“Things quickly got out of control.”
“Kimimaro and I were both defeated by him.”
“In the end, we both passed out.”
Muzake looked at the roaring giant.
It was Jugo.
Orochimaru suggested,
“Master, from my observations, as long as the Dragon Vein energy flows, Jugo won’t die.”
“So I still recommend blowing up the Dragon Vein.”
Muzake frowned.
The Dragon Vein energy powered his invincible Godzilla fortress.
With it, finding such a high-level energy source would be easier.
Muzake: “Is there no other way?”
Jugo let out a meaningless roar and charged.
Muzak was in a foul mood.
He shouted,
“Quiet down.”
Clapping his hands together,
Electromagnetic Style, Four-Pillar Electrical Barrier.
Four electric grids trapped Jugo.
His fists pounded on the grid.
Crackling sounds erupted.
Smoke rose from his fists.
He didn’t care at all.
With the constant replenishment of Dragon Vein energy,
His punches grew stronger.
The Four-Pillar Electrical Barrier, strong enough to withstand the Nine-Tails, was shaken by his hits.
Muzake frowned.
This Dragon Vein energy was potent.
Orochimaru: “Master, the entire Dragon Vein has been polluted. This energy is useless now.”
Muzake looked at the Dragon Vein energy spewing from the cave.
The purplish-blue polluted energy covered the entire entrance.
He couldn’t see inside.
From the looks of it,
Orochimaru was right.
The Dragon Vein was polluted.
It was wasted.
Orochimaru: “Master, just blow it up.”
Muzake: “What about Jugo?”
Orochimaru: “I’ll clone him.”
Muzake: “Can you estimate the scale of the explosion? Will it affect the village?”
Orochimaru shook his head.
“I don’t know.”
This was troubling.
If the explosion was more powerful than a nuclear bomb,
His village and even the entire desert would be doomed.
Plus, the impact of polluted Dragon Vein energy on the environment was unknown.
Muzak couldn’t gamble.
He mustn’t gamble.
So what now?
Roar!
The giant Jugo slammed his fist into the electric grid again.
The Dragon Vein’s energy not only repaired him but also strengthened him.
Muzak was furious.
Using his Natural Eye was out of the question.
Who knew what would happen if he absorbed the polluted Dragon Vein energy?
Muzake glanced at the scattered machinery fragments on the ground.
He extended his palm forward.
“Scatter!”
“Steel Wool Ball!”
All the mechanical metal fragments on the ground were pulverized into steel wool balls the size of cherry blossom petals.
They spun under magnetic force.
It is forming four steel wool columns around the giant Jugo, cutting him.
Even a giant as strong as Jugo couldn’t withstand the torment of the steel wool balls.
He howled in pain, his body shrinking.
He broke the columns.
The scattered petals would regroup.
This finally trapped Jugo.
But sensing Jugo’s predicament,
More Dragon Vein energy surged from underground.
The crisis was far from over.
