Vongola Primo in One Piece - Chapter 347
Following a gunshot, intense black and golden light burst through the air. It left visible trails in its wake, dyeing the sky in black and golden!
However, the power of Geno’s Absolute Zero Punch should not be underestimated. The sheer cold from Geno’s punch froze the air around them and then…
Reborn and Geno’s attack clashed fiercely! In that moment, the surrounding fell into an eerie silence. There was no earth-shattering explosion but rather an eerie silence. At the point where their attack clashed, it was as if space itself distorted, though it was just a peculiar effect caused by the interaction of Sun Flame and the extreme cold.
In this clash, Reborn’s bullet tried to pierce through Geno’s extreme cold wave, while the extreme cold wave tried to freeze the bullet completely.
Both Reborn and Geno were fixed on their respective attack. They put everything they had into the last attack they launched! However, Geno seemed to be in better shape compared to Reborn, who reverted to his infantile form after firing that last shot, unable to put up much of a fight anymore. Fighting a formidable opponent like Geno in his infantile form was definitely not an option.
“Bang!”
Suddenly, the two opposing energies erupted. A terrifying storm was generated, freezing and destroying everything in its path. Even Reborn and Geno were both swept away by the storm.
“Spurt!”
They both spurted blood from their mouths as they were sent flying before eventually crashing hard onto the ground.
Reborn had already reverted to his baby form, and since this tough battle had taken a toll on his body, he couldn’t even handle the storm. He cursed, “This body is really a pain in the ass. I wish the time limit could be extended a bit. Just five more minutes would be enough to deal with anyone in this world.”
He wasn’t asking for much, just an extra five minutes, and he would have been able to handle formidable opponents like Geno more effectively.
“Vongola Family’s Reborn, your strength far exceeds my expectations. I didn’t expect to find someone like you. However, it appears that your power has its limits. It’s a pity. If you could have maintained your previous form just a little longer, you could have defeated me. But now, it seems that I will be the victor in the end.”
Geno’s body was covered in blood after getting caught by the storm. However, he managed to stand back up and began to approach Reborn. As a CP0 agent, he knew the importance of eliminating threats completely. With Reborn heavily wounded, it was crucial to finish the job, or else he would have a formidable adversary in the future.
“Boom!”
As Geno was about to get closer to Reborn, a beam of light suddenly struck Geno, sending him flying!
Immediately after, a massive war machine rapidly ascended from below and landed in front of Reborn. Spanner’s voice came from inside the machine, “Reborn, let me take you back to the island. It seems I’ll have to entrust this fight to Primo and G for now. Once I get you to a safe place, I’ll come back to help.”
Reborn recognized the machine as Moska and nodded, “It looks like you’ve completed your Moska, huh?”
“Indeed, but it’s just the most basic one. It can barely be used in combat. This happens a good opportunity to gather more data to improve the Moska,” Spanner said through Moska’s communication device again.
Spanner was currently in the Technology Department, remotely piloting the Moska. He had no intention of entering the battlefield personally, especially when this Moska was just a basic version with combat capabilities similar to an average Rear Admiral.
After securing his position on Moska’s shoulder, Reborn instructed Spanner to make his way back to the island. Fon briefly opened a passage in the protective shield, allowing the Moska to pass.
Geno wanted to stop them but the stinging pain throughout his body stopped him. He had to regain some of his strength before he could go after Reborn.
On the other hand, Giotto was facing Demon Spade and Tengu’s relentless attack. Spanner’s Flame of Night was unpredictable and challenging to deal with, while Tengu’s ability to absorb and counter energy-type attacks made things even harder.
However, neither Demon Spade nor Tengu dared to face him directly. If Giotto landed a direct hit, either of them might be out for the count instantly.
