Vongola Primo in One Piece - Chapter 372
“Ah, when will he ever finish all these paperworks?”
Inside Giotto’s office, G was buried under a mountain of paperwork. Even Giotto’s diligent right-hand man couldn’t help but yell in frustration. After Robin left with Kuina, Giotto and Aria had also set sail for their honeymoon. It was only natural for the newlyweds to have some quality time, but it left all the paperwork piling up for G and Shoichi Irie.
G should be thankful that Shoichi Irie was there to help him. Without him, G might have had a complete breakdown.
“Well, there’s no other way around it. After all, honeymoon is essential for Primo and Lady Aria. That being said, these paperwork are indeed too much. It feels like years’ worth of paperwork. We should start by sorting them…”
Shoichi Irie had his share of exasperation, but he could understand. Everyone would have their special day eventually, and so he would he. Complaining wouldn’t solve the problem anyway, so he might as well do what he could.
“You’re right, but the sheer amount of the paperwork is just too much… No, we must get D and his wife to help us as well; otherwise, when will we ever finish all this?”
G was about to pick up a Den Den Mushi to call Demon Spade and Elena for assistance, but Shoichi Irie shook his head and said, “That’s highly unlikely. They’re currently on an island in the New World to train Sabo. Even if we contact them, they won’t be able to return anytime soon. I think it might be better to reach out to Reborn. He hasn’t received any new students lately.”
Indeed, Demon Spade was currently focused on training Sabo, and they couldn’t interrupt his training. The young ones represented the future of Vongola Family, and Demon Spade’s guidance was vital.
So, after some discussion, G and Shoichi Irie decided to call Reborn. Despite the vast number of combatant in the family, those who were capable of handling paperwork were indeed scarce. Robin, who usually handled this, was now away, and they had just realized how overwhelmed they were without her.
Giotto and Aria could only offer their condolences to G and Shoichi Irie as they were approaching Fish-Man Island. They had decided to spend their honeymoon underwater.
Ryugu Palace
Jinbe rushed into the palace. After bowing into the massive King Neptune, he immediately said, “Your Majesty, I’ve just received news that Lord Primo and Lady Aria will arrive at Fish-Man Island within the next two hours. I believe we should prepare a grand reception for them. Even though we met them at their wedding, it’s our duty to offer them the utmost hospitality.”
Previously, Neptune attended Giotto and Aria’s wedding reception to represent Fish-Man Island, and he didn’t receive any discrimination whatsoever there! Moreover, Fish-Man Island had been peaceful and mermaid trafficking barely happened for years now thanks to the support of Vongola Family, and as External Advisor, Jinbe, played a key role in maintaining that peace.
Therefore, Jinbe’s suggestion was undoubtedly correct. They should welcome the most honored guests with a grand reception.
“Dear, we should bring the soldiers and the princes to welcome them.” Queen Otohime said gently as she walked toward them.
She also survived Hody Jones’s assassination attempt indirectly thanks to Giotto. At that time, Belphegor happened to pass by. He saved Otohime and killed in the process. At the time, Bell didn’t think it was a big deal and hadn’t reported it immediately. Giotto only learned about it way later.
“Indeed, and perhaps this time, we may need to ask Lord Vongola Primo’s assistance regarding Shirahoshi…”
King Neptune said sadly. While Queen Otohime survived, Princess Shirahoshi was cooped up in the castle because of Vander Decken IX’s obsession with her like in the manga. Even though Jinbe was stronger than in the manga as he had awakened Dying Will Flame, Vander Decken IX was so elusive.
They had considered seeking Vongola Family’s help earlier, but they understood that Vongola Family was busy, so they had held it off until now.
Giotto and Aria’s visit to Fish-Man Island presented the perfect moment to discuss this matter.
“Let’s save it for later. We shouldn’t disturb Lord Vongola Primo and Lady Aria’s happiness. If we can solve it ourselves, it would be best.” Queen Otohime agreed with Jinbe’s plan to welcome Giotto and Aria, but she was also well aware that they were on their honeymoon. It was a joyful occasion, and it was best not to disturb them.
She was a thoughtful queen indeed.
“Well, let’s discuss this matter in more detail later. For now, let’s call Fukaboshi and the others to the harbor to welcome Lord Vongola Primo’s arrival. The entire Fish-Man Island will be thrilled! Although Lord Vongola Primo rarely visits, he’s so famous here. More Fishmen and Merfolks are grateful to him than they are to me, their king, haha!” King Neptune said with a smile.
