Vongola Primo in One Piece - Chapter 381
Paulie, was basically a troublemaker in Galley-La Company. However, at that moment, even Rob Lucci and Kaku had to admire him from the bottom of their hearts.
He dared to go as far as insulting Vongola Primo’s wife? Did he know that not even an Admiral would have the audacity to do that?
Well, he just didn’t know Giotto, that and the fact that he hit his head.
“Uhhh, Primo-san, Paulie means no harm. It’s just a habit of his. Please overlook it this once.” Iceberg said helplessly. If it were anyone else, Paulie’s remarks might not have been a problem, but he just said that to the most powerful man in New World.
Let alone Paulie, even Iceberg would be slammed to the ground by Giotto if he said the same thing as Paulie to Aria.
Upon hearing Iceberg’s plead, Giotto let go of Paulie’s head. His aura, which was like a raging tempest, gradually subsided. After all, he was just a guest, so he had to show some respect to the master of this place.
Moreover, for Tom’s sake, Iceberg deserved some slack.
“Don’t let it happen again. If this guy causes trouble again, I won’t hesitate to kill him. After all, I’m a mafia. People will take me lightly if I’m too kind,” Giotto said coldly.
His words weren’t meant for Paulie; it was a warning to Rob Lucci and Kaku. It would be great if they could read between the lines. But if they did not, Giotto didn’t mind helping Iceberg getting rid of those pests even though he had no intention of getting involved in these trivial matters.
“Iceberg-san, someone is looking for you. It’s those government officials again. You should go and see them quickly. They get in the way of our work.” At this moment, a shirtless shipwright with a peculiar beard approached.
This person had appeared in the manga, and he was indeed an excellent shipwright. However, Giotto didn’t remember him.
What caught Giotto’s attention was the word ‘government officials’. The World Government was clearly making preparations. Not only had they sent CP9 agents to infiltrate Iceberg’s circle, but they also sent government officials to demand Pluton’s blueprints. However, being an ancient weapon, Pluton had the potential to throw everything into chaos. If the World Government didn’t keep it in check, it would be troublesome for them.
However, upon hearing this news, Rob Lucci and Kaku couldn’t help but raise their eyebrows. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be a big deal. But with the leader of Vongola Family present, things might get dicey if Pluton’s blueprints was exposed.
If the powerful Vongola Family was involved in this matter, they would be held accountable for sure.
“Government officials? Iceberg, do you mind if I tag along to see them? Perhaps I can help you get rid of some of the troubles. If they recognize me, they’ll likely run away as soon as possible. That way, no matter what they wanted from you, they’d have some quiet time. When they see me, they’ll surely report it to their superior, and by the time the report reaches their superiors’ ears, I’ll be long gone,” Giotto suggested.
Although Giotto wasn’t interested in Pluton, he didn’t mind stirring things up a bit. He didn’t care how the World Government would interpret it. After all, he was only on his honeymoon with Aria.
“Then I’ll take you up on your offer, Primo-san.” Iceberg reluctantly agreed. Lately, he had been bothered by the government officials. Causing them some trouble would give him a peaceful time for a while. He didn’t care if the World Government was suspicious about his relationship with Vongola Primo. After all, it was common knowledge that Tom built Vongola Family’s flagship. In light of recent events, it didn’t seem like the World Government and the Marines intended to go to war with Vongola Family.
Iceberg then led the way and soon saw several government officials in black suits. These officials didn’t hold high positions within the World Government; they were more like errand boys.
Water 7, Blueno’s bar.
Kalifa, headed straight to this place. As soon as she arrived, the bar owner found excuses to have all the other customers leave.
“Kalifa, coming here like this could easily expose us. But I’m sure there must be something very important for you to risk revealing yourself at this time. So, what exactly is it that made you so desperate?” Bruno wiped his glass with a serious expression.
Kalifa took a deep breath and finally spoke, “A big shot has arrived at this city, and I’m certain he might have seen through our identities. However, it’s strange. If he truly found out, why didn’t he attack me? Or could it be that he was merely testing me?”
“Wait, Kalifa, hold on. You’ve got to tell me what made you so panic. Is it a famous pirate or something? I can’t make heads or tails of this.” Bruno was now utterly confused. He could see that Kalifa was panicking but couldn’t quite grasp what was happening.
“It’s not a pirate. More accurately, that guy is even scarier than a pirate. I feel like I’m about to die of asphyxiation just because I’m standing near him.”
Kalifa’s eyes were exceptionally serious, and she clearly seemed frightened. “It’s the world’s most powerful mafia, the one who reigns over New World – that man is here in this city, and he’s right beside Iceburg!”
“Clank!”
The sound of a glass shattering on the floor echoed in the bar. Bruno’s expression was now incredibly grim as he said, “You mean… that… Vongola Primo?”
