Vongola Primo in One Piece - Chapter 407
Giotto’s small boat rushed at a remarkably high speed, thanks to the propulsive force generated by flames. However, this propulsion system could only be used by someone with fire-based abilities. However, if the propulsion system were changed into Dying Will Flame-based, the speed would increase significantly.
Sky Flame’s propulsion power was indeed stronger, but it was too taxing. In contrast, the consumption of his Flame-Flame Fruit was negligible.
“Ah! This is it! The person who stole my shadow is indeed here… Yohohoho, I’m so lucky today. I finally meet a living human after so long, and I can fulfill my lifelong wish. I made up my mind a long time ago that I’ll risk my life to get my shadow back when I meet that guy again. So, you two, let’s…”
“Wham!”
Before Brook could finish his rambling, Giotto gave him a slap that sent him tumbling to the ground. If they let this guy run out on his own, he would surely die again.
Though Moria might be considered one of the weaker Seven Warlords, he was a Seven Warlords of the Sea nonetheless. These days, he had grown fat and his strength had waned, but underestimating him wasn’t wise.
“Quiet down. I promised to help you get your shadow back, and I’ll keep my word, so do what I say,” Giotto said, trying to maintain his menacing presence.
At the next moment, he saw a ghost hovering not far ahead, and it spoke, “Perona, tell Moria that Vongola Giotto is here and make sure to tell him not to waste my time.”
The little ghost was controlled by Perona, and Giotto hoped Perona could hear his message. If she could not, he would have to find someone else. If he remembered correctly, he should be able to reach Dr. Hogback not too far up this island, or rather, this large ship.
Having sent the message, Giotto docked the small boat and proceeded along the path ahead. He released his Color of Supreme King Haki to deter any unwanted visitors, whether they were zombies or the living. The aura of Color of Supreme King Haki had an instinctual effect on creatures, even those without reason, making them reluctant to approach.
“Brook, why do you seem so afraid? You’re a skeleton, so you actually fit in here,” Aria asked nonchalantly as she walked alongside Giotto.
However, Brook was still shaking as he answered, “I’m sorry, but I’m not good with ghosts and monsters, so in a place, my body instinctively trembles to try to ward off the fear.”
It seemed strange for a skeleton to be afraid of ghosts and monsters, as if something about the situation was not quite logical.
In the central castle of the island, countless ghosts began to gather as Perona called them back. Meanwhile, inside the castle, a giant man slowly opened his eyes. Given the surrounding environment, there was a certain eerie feeling in the air.
At this moment, three peculiar little creatures rushed into Moria’s room. They stared at the awakened Moria and reported, “Moria-sama, new prey has arrived! They came ashore and set foot on the island!”
“Three people in total, one man, one woman, plus a skeleton. They seem to have decent strength, so they’re within your standard, Moria-sama!”
Those three little creatures didn’t recognize Giotto and Aria, so they assumed they were just ordinary pirates or some merchants.
“Kishishishi! Only three? Well, let them handle it. This is Thriller Bark, and anyone who comes here will face the most terrifying nightmare!”
Moria showed no interest and believed that he didn’t need to step in if it were just regular people. After all, he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
As he prepared to take a nap, Perona suddenly floated through the wall and appeared before him, looking panicked and shouting, “Moria-sama! Moria-sama! You mustn’t lay a hand on the people who just arrived on the island!”
Moria was momentarily taken aback, as he rarely saw Perona so anxious. However, after some thought, he concluded there shouldn’t be a major problem. After all, this was the first half of the Grand Line, and there were very few individuals he considered noteworthy.
“What’s wrong, Perona? Is there something special about those people who just arrived?” Moria inquired, curious about Perona’s unusual demeanor.
Perona explained, “That man, the one who just arrived on the island, he’s Vongola Primo! He’s the leader of Vongola Family in New World!”
Upon hearing this, Moria’s expression changed. His eyes were painted with fear. He had never personally crossed paths with Vongola Primo, but he was well aware of Vongola Family’s power! Their strength was evident from his confrontation with Varia back then. Even Varia’s officers could hold their own against Moria, let alone Vongola Primo!
The ruler of New World, was certainly not someone Moria could trifle with.
However, Moria couldn’t help but wonder how someone like Vongola Primo ended up here.
“Perona, are you be sure of this?” Moria asked seriously.
