Lightning Flame filled the corridor in an instant. Fortunately, this corridor had been reinforced as it connected to the room where Kaido was held. Otherwise, Levi’s attacks would have destroyed it long ago.

On the top floor of Shogun’s Mansion, Xanxus was fast asleep. He didn’t have much to do, so nap was a daily routine for him. However, despite sleeping, he remained highly perceptive to combat. The reason he didn’t wake up was simply because the battle between Levi and the CP0 agent weren’t interesting enough for him.

Levi’s face turned solemn. He initially thought he was dealing with a petty thief with a decent strength. But in the blink of an eye, he found himself completely overwhelmed by this cloaked man. It felt as if he was facing his boss, Xanxus. In this world’s terms, this person was at least an Admiral-level combatant.

Despite using his Parabolas and Box Weapon, he could barely keep the intruder away from the chamber where Kaido was detained. He refused to take even one step back, knowing that doing so might allow the intruder to break the ice that imprisoned Kaido. Even though he hadn’t fought against Kaido, he knew that Kaido was a monster since Vongola Primo had to used Zero Point Breakthrough to freeze him.

As far as he knew, not even his boss, Xanxus, could withstand Zero Point Breakthrough’s freezing power.

“Lord Levi, we have come to assist you!” At that moment, Hyogoro, accompanied by a group of Wano samurais, rushed to the scene. They sensed the intruder’s power and brought their best samurai, including Nine Red Scabbards who had survived the war in Wano Country. Of course, they couldn’t be called the Nine Red Scabbards anymore since they didn’t have enough members.

Shimotsuki Family and Hyogoro went through a lot to gather the survivors among Nine Red Scabbards. After all, they were they were Wano’s best samurai, and their strength could make significant contributions to protect the country.

“What difference does a few more small fries make? But come to think of it, where’s that bastard Em? Is that idiot daydreaming on the way again? What a hassle. However, Byakuro and his team’s participation did relieve some pressure from Levi to some extent. With their combined efforts, they finally managed to keep the cloaked man away from the secret room and prevent him from advancing any further.

“Are you seriously struggling against those small fries, Aex?”

Right when the cloaked man was cursing, he suddenly saw a masked figure standing in the corridor.

“Em, you bastard, why don’t you help instead of standing around like a moron? I’ll hang you up and give you a good beating when we get back!”

The cloaked man was genuinely frustrated with his colleague. He was facing all these enemies alone, while Em, for some reason, had been standing in the corridor daydreaming. If he hadn’t taken a quick glance, he probably wouldn’t even have noticed the guy!

Em was the CP0 agent that was assigned for this mission alongside him. However, he was a rather odd person, akin to Roronoa Zoro, who had no sense of direction. Em was incredibly powerful but often found himself lost in thought for no apparent reason. When he daydreamed, his mind went completely blank, and he stopped thinking about anything or doing anything.

Moreover, his presence was extremely faint, and he had a knack for hiding his aura, especially when he wanted to remain unnoticed. But when he daydreamed, he didn’t intentionally hide his aura, making it almost impossible for anyone to detect him. It was fortunate that the cloaked man had casually glanced in his direction, or he might have gone unnoticed.

If they were to say, only people who had mastered Color of Observation Haki could sense Em’s presence when he concealed his presence. 

However, within Vongola Family, there was a certain method to sense Em’s presence, but only a handful of individuals could use it, and that method was…

“Ah, you’re busted already. I already told you I could handle this mission alone. Why do you have to come as well? I can’t my presence when you’re with me,” Em said in an emotionless tone as he finally snapped back to reality.

It was only when he spoke that Levi and the others noticed his presence, so they were obviously shocked.

“Why don’t you help instead of making snide remarks?” The cloaked man called Aex couldn’t help but retort. He’d have given Em a beating if he didn’t have his hands full now.

In reality, Aex could have taken care of Levi and the others on his own. However, using his abilities would inevitably alert someone he’d rather avoid, so he didn’t want to do so unless absolutely necessary.

“Alright, alright, I get it. What a hassle. Can we get rid of these people now? Infiltration, assassination, I’ve done these countless times, so… let’s start with auditory perception!” Em extended his hand, and several rings of light were shot for Levi and Wano samurais.
