Vongola Primo in One Piece - Chapter 416
Without a doubt, the owner of the voice was Issho. At this moment, he stood proudly in the air, his cane sword already drawn. With his powerful Observation, Haki instantly locked onto Aim. Though his voice was calm, he was on high alert. He observed that Haki was among the strongest in the Vongola Family, possibly even the strongest. Yet, even he found Aim’s presence extremely faint, which was not a good sign.
Issho arrived here by sacrificing their external advisor’s warship, using all three emergency accelerations to make it to Wano Country in time barely. Upon arrival, he immediately flew over using his Devil Fruit ability, so Bagir and others were still disembarking and couldn’t reach Flower Capital for a while. The ship was expensive, and Issho felt a bit heartbroken. However, his earlier remark about reimbursement was a joke. While their external advisors weren’t wealthy, they could scrape together enough to ask Verde to build another ship.
But this wasn’t the main issue. The priority was dealing with the seemingly dazed individual before him. They had to eliminate this person first. If Issho couldn’t handle this, and Kaido broke free, even he and Xanxus together might not prevail. After all, two against three, especially with someone as powerful as Kaido, would severely disadvantage them.
“Vongola Family’s External Advisor Chief, Issho. User of the Gravity Fruit and a Great Swordsman, also possessing Dying Will Flames similar to Vongola Primo. Comprehensive strength rating: Admiral level…”
Aim spoke listlessly, “But you’re not my match. Step aside to avoid wasting time and making things troublesome for everyone. We’re here to free Kaido. If you step aside, I’ll unfreeze him and leave with Axe and Kaido. There’s no need to fight to the death over this.”
His tone was somewhat calm, implying that freeing an Admiral-level combatant was a minor task. To him, it was. Though he hadn’t fought Kaido, he knew Kaido’s abilities and vitality. His calculations suggested that if they fought, the result would be clear quickly, though he couldn’t kill Kaido due to his immense life force.
Issho was seen as a nuisance. The Gravity Fruit could unleash a large-scale attack, and even if Aim deprived him of his senses, as long as Issho retained consciousness, he could keep fighting. While not effective, this was bothersome.
“I can’t do that. As the External Advisor Chief, stepping back would bring shame,” Issho’s cane sword moved slightly, and a powerful gravity field immediately weighed down on Aim. “Instead, could you leave? If you do, we won’t pursue. The damage here is already significant, and I’d rather not fight now.”
Feeling the gravity, Aim quickly released a halo, much faster than when he faced Levi and others, which entered Issho’s body. Issho was momentarily puzzled but found no change.
Was it just for the show?
Did this battle require theatrics?
Seeing no reaction, Aim realised his blunder. The halo was meant to deprive vision, but Issho was blind! It was as foolish as threatening to kill a dead man. Axe, fighting Xanxus, nearly spat blood in disbelief.
“Gravity Blade: Fierce Tiger!”
Though sensing nothing wrong, Issho knew an enemy when attacked. He slashed with Armament Haki and his fruit’s power, warping the space ahead, sending a powerful gravity blade toward Aim.
“The pressure is unbearable! I’ll strip you of all senses!”
Aim released four halos and stood with Armament Haki, shouting, “Iron Body!”
“Boom!”
The gravity blade struck, and the halos hit Issho, stripping him of all senses and leaving him motionless. Aim, bearing the weight and a shoulder cut, walked toward Kaido’s ice.
“Dying Will Flame: Tiger King’s Slash!”
Suddenly, as Aim passed, Issho, devoid of senses, moved. His Dying Will Flames ignited, propelling him to strike Aim, who couldn’t dodge due to the gravity and lack of alertness.
How could this guy, deprived of all senses, locate him so accurately?
