Whitebeard in Naruto World - Chapter 57
“Damn it… miscalculation!” The Hidden Grass Village ANBU’s expressions were grim, but they didn’t hesitate to form seals, using a Leaf Village jutsu: “Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!”
So many ninjas using Fire Style jutsu simultaneously.
Even though these Hidden Grass ANBU were quite weak.
Their numbers were overwhelming.
A “Great Fireball Jutsu” barrage lit up half the sky over the rundown town.
“More fire? Can’t they come up with anything else?”
Whitebeard, disappointed, punched the air.
He didn’t use Armament Haki, Conqueror’s Haki, or Devil Fruit power.
Just pure physical strength shattered the atmosphere.
A loud noise accompanied by a sonic boom.
The resulting invisible whirlwind instantly extinguished the raging flames, and many Hidden Grass ANBU were shocked.
They landed several meters away.
“What kind of jutsu is that?!” They were terrified, as they hadn’t seen Whitebeard form any seals.
At that moment.
Whitebeard walked over, picked up Murakumogiri from the ground, and slashed horizontally with a confident grin!
The wind pressure from Murakumogiri’s slash was like a scythe.
The speed was beyond the reaction time of the Hidden Grass ANBU.
Compared to a village like Konoha, the Hidden Grass’s ANBU were naturally inferior.
An average Chunin from Konoha’s ANBU.
It could be an elite in the Hidden Grass ANBU!
They might have realized what hit them if they were Konoha’s elite ANBU members.
But the Hidden Grass ANBU couldn’t even react.
They only felt a gentle breeze.
Then.
Their bodies were cut in half!
“Huh?” A Hidden Grass ANBU ninja wondered why he suddenly lost balance and fell.
When he tried to land, he realized his lower body wasn’t responding!
A glance showed his lower body still on the tree!
Pain hit him instantly!
“Ahhhhh!!!” He screamed, falling to the ground, his innards spilling out. Terrified and in agony, he howled: “Damn woman! Get over here! Let me bite you!”
In the direction he was looking, a red-haired woman was trembling in fear, hiding behind a large tree.
“Damn it! If you don’t let me bite you, your daughter is dead!!”
The word “daughter” made the woman shiver.
She bit her lip and hurriedly ran out from behind the tree.
She ran to the screaming ANBU and rolled up her sleeve, revealing a scarred arm covered in bite marks.
The ANBU, barely clinging to life, bit down hard, breaking the skin.
He sucked the blood greedily.
Making the already pale woman even paler.
However.
Before he could drink more, heavy footsteps made him freeze.
His movements.
Stopped.
“Kid, as a man, as a warrior, never threaten anyone’s family!” Whitebeard’s expression darkened under the ANBU’s terrified gaze.
He lifted his foot and stomped down!
Squish—
Like crushing a tomato, red liquid splattered everywhere.
The ground cracked.
A deep crater formed.
“A monster!” The few remaining ANBU were luckier, not meeting such a gruesome end yet, but they watched their comrades die quickly.
In an instant, twenty ANBU members were reduced to less than five. Isn’t that dying quickly?
“Run! Run!”
They knew the consequences of desertion but also knew staying meant death.
“Go tell the leader! This giant is more terrifying than a Leaf Jonin!!”
Too late.
Whitebeard didn’t hesitate, slashing backward with Murakumogiri. The ANBU felt like an elephant hit them.
“Ugh!!!”
They spat blood, half their bodies shredded by the wind pressure from Murakumogiri, blood and flesh scattered.
Their assassination, disguise, and escape skills were useless against absolute power.
They couldn’t even use them.
Almost annihilated!
The “almost” because, at Whitebeard’s feet, a red-haired young woman had fallen, trembling in shock and fear.
Whitebeard saw her arm covered in bite marks.
Scars that would never fade.
“Kid, your hair reminds me of another kid!” Whitebeard’s gaze moved to the woman’s red hair, his eyes hinting nostalgia.
“Dad! Are you okay?!!”
“Hey! Naruto!!!”
Naruto and Kakashi’s voices came from the inn. Naruto rushed out, with Kakashi clutching the remnants of Naruto’s shirt, twitching.
He hadn’t wanted Naruto to come out.
Naruto was only five, after all.
It wasn’t wartime, and if anything happened… he wouldn’t know how to face Minato and Kushina in the afterlife.
But Naruto, even at five, was stronger than expected.
He tore the shirt.
“Dad! Dad…” Naruto’s voice stopped abruptly as he saw the scene. It was overwhelming for a child.
Blood and bodies everywhere.
The stench of blood was intense.
Terrifying!
“Gulp!” Naruto swallowed hard, the sight more gruesome than anything he’d seen.
Is this the adult world?
Is this the ninja world?
“I told you not to come out.” Kakashi sighed from behind Naruto.
Having fought in the Great Ninja War, Kakashi was desensitized to such bloodshed.
He looked at Whitebeard.
His gaze drifted to the unfamiliar woman beside Whitebeard, her red hair making Kakashi’s pupils shrink, memories flooding back.
“Kushina?”
A name slipped from Kakashi’s lips.
He was in disbelief.
Until.
Naruto and his voice seemed to catch the woman’s attention.
The red-haired woman turned, her unfamiliar face snapping Kakashi from his memories.
“Wrong person…” Kakashi mumbled.
But her red hair was unforgettable.
“A survivor of the Uzumaki clan?”
