Yasuo in Marvel - Chapter 30
At the top of the building, a white-haired elite vampire was toying with Karen and Hathaway, pinning them against the wall with one hand each.
“Killing you will be such a thrill!”
“It’s you who will die!” Hathaway pulled out the last syringe from her pocket and stabbed it into the vampire’s neck!
“Ah!” In just a few seconds, the elite vampire turned to ashes, a victim of her own verbosity.
Yasuo rushed to the top floor, where a dozen or so black-clad vampires appeared out of nowhere. To Yasuo, these were just experience points before facing the boss.
Drawing his sword, Yasuo demonstrated the essence of the Joyful Wind Man—speed!
With a Z-shaped flash and a swift use of his E skill (Sweeping Blade), the vampires turned to ashes wherever he passed. The surrounding vampires couldn’t even see Yasuo’s blade movements.
“Run, you pervert in red!” some vampires screamed and chose to flee.
“Damn it? Can’t you just be good minions and provide experience and gold?”
A massive whirlwind filled the entire corridor, its destructive power causing the passageway to start collapsing. Cracks appeared beneath Yasuo’s feet, and large chunks of debris began to fall from above.
“Damn, I overdid it!” Yasuo hurriedly ran upwards, not wanting to be buried alive!
On the top floor of the building, Blade and Deacon Frost were locked in a one-sided battle. Empowered by the Blood God’s power, Deacon Frost was invulnerable to any damage, whether his hand was cut off or his body was split in half, he could instantly recover. In contrast, Blade’s wounds were increasing.
Yasuo barely avoided all the falling debris and successfully reached the top floor, where the first thing he saw was two beautiful women, one black and one white—Hathaway and Karen!
“Hi, ladies, need a hand?” Yasuo couldn’t help but start to taunt, even while hidden under his mask.
“Red pervert? You’re just in time, go help Blade, Deacon Frost has gained the power of the Blood God!” Karen, clearly having heard of Yasuo, immediately asked for help.
“………” Red pervert? Damn it!
“Remember, I’m not called Red Pervert. That’s disrespectful. I refuse your request!” Yasuo protested vehemently, unable to tolerate the nickname “Red Pervert.”
“If you don’t like that name, then Mr. Cross-Dresser, go help Blade!” Karen, the doctor, was obviously doing it on purpose.
Hathaway, standing beside Karen, couldn’t hold back her laughter upon hearing Karen’s nicknames for Yasuo, even though the situation was inappropriate for humor.
As the group was bantering, Blade was thrown violently to the ground in front of them.
Head down, his butt sat on his own head!
Struggling to change his position, Blade’s eyes lit up when he saw Yasuo, like a starving dog spotting a piece of hot, fresh meat. “Kid, get over here and help! Silver and garlic have no effect on Deacon Frost anymore!”
Yasuo drew his long sword with one hand, stood firm, and looked at Deacon Frost with unprecedented seriousness. To him, this might be his first real battle since crossing over into the Marvel Universe.
“Red Pervert, I’ve heard of you. Want to join my ranks? I’ll grant you eternal life!” Deacon Frost didn’t attack immediately, attempting instead to entice Yasuo with the promise of immortality.
His answer was Yasuo’s action, not words. The crimson figure moved like a bloodstain, even Deacon Frost could only see an afterimage.
Deacon Frost could barely dodge Yasuo’s attacks, losing an entire arm in the process. Yasuo, capitalizing on his momentum, used a Q skill (Steel Tempest), triggering a critical strike. Deacon Frost was left dumbfounded before exploding with a “boom,” turning into a pile of flesh.
Yasuo himself couldn’t believe it. Had he really taken down the legendary vampire god, the Blood God, in just three moves?
Feeling somewhat dazed, Yasuo looked at Blade and the others, only to find them equally bewildered.
Outside, the sky turned red!
Originally covered by thick clouds, the sky over New York began to clear, revealing an even eerier blood-red sky. Coulson, standing outside, saw the clouds dissipate and punched the air triumphantly. But before he could fully celebrate, he noticed the blood-red sky, and his joy turned to horror.
Across various vampire hideouts, vampires in the midst of revelry were drawn to the windows by the blood-red sky. The thick scent of blood caused all vampires to twitch uncontrollably, their bloodlust growing rapidly.
Unable to suppress their desires, the vampires began to roar. The intense scent of blood drove them all to lose control.
In a large castle, Chad Normand stood at the window, staring at the blood-red sky for several seconds before reacting.
“Did that useless half-blood really succeed? Has the Blood God been reborn?” Chad Normand’s face turned grim.
“The Blood God? Deacon Frost’s goal was to resurrect the Blood God? If you knew, why didn’t you say so earlier?” Chad Normand’s father, the actual ruler of the Vampire Empire, the Vampire Prince, sternly questioned his son.
“It’s not that I didn’t say anything, but Blade, the Red Pervert, and S.H.I.E.L.D. kept interfering. Besides, the Book of the Dead is just a story among vampires. I didn’t think he could actually succeed!”
Talking about Deacon Frost and the Blood God made Chad Normand’s expression turn ferocious. That useless half-blood dared to try to rule over the noble purebloods, and he had actually succeeded, however temporarily.
“The Book of the Dead? Deacon Frost obtained the Book of the Dead?” the Prince asked in shock.
“Yes, but it should be in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s hands now. And there’s good news: to resurrect the Blood God, Deacon Frost probably killed those old Council members. The entire Vampire Empire will soon be completely under your control, father.” Chad Normand knew everything about Deacon Frost, giving the impression that Deacon Frost had been manipulated all along.
From the castle’s basement came beastly roars, causing the whole structure to tremble slightly.
“Go, administer the newly developed drug to those in the dungeon.”
“Father, the latest drug isn’t stable enough. Although it grants great power, the side effects cause the subjects to die within hours,” Chad Normand said, aware of the drug’s effects.
“No matter, use it and let them loose. A few hours will be enough. The Book of the Dead belongs to us vampires; S.H.I.E.L.D. can’t touch it. Only noble vampires deserve the Book of the Dead!” the Prince shouted at Chad Normand, emphasizing the importance of the Book of the Dead.
As the sky turned blood-red, Nick Fury in S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters issued an order to deploy all agents to take over New York. Agent 13, Sharon Carter, was sent to arrest the New York Police Commissioner, restore the police force, and ensure internal stability, enforcing martial law across New York.
